Many of you know of my friendship with and admiration for June Griffin, the gutsy Christian woman who has (among many, many other things) started her own publishing company and driven all over TN getting its counties to clear the way for official display of the Ten Commandments. You've experienced some of her commentaries in my Dixie Diary Online features in this very website -- and it's long overdue to set up an archive for them as they come forth.
Many are already on file waiting for me to add them here, but this is the one that pops up before me as I again attempt to tame an Inbox crammed with 1500 substantial emails screaming for attention. June sent it on the Martin Lucifer King day we endured a week ago. Enjoy -- and redeploy! /\/.\/\/.

Subject: REMEMBER BYRON DE LA BECKWITH

On this Communist high day when the banks and officials shut their doors
to commemorate a Communist, michael king, so-called MLK, let us remember
another man who was over repeatedly for the same crime, until they nailed
him, contrary to all our Constitutional precepts and the holiness of our
country. Beckwith was not convicted, set free more than once, but the
determination was to get him so at the third trial, he was convicted and
died in prison, an innocent man, the victim of Communists in Mississippi.
Why would cities change the names of a major street to re-name it for
this wicked man? I think the answer lies in the testimony of former Mayor
of Chattanooga, Gene Roberts, who stated in a talk show, that after
receiving a letter from the ADL, city officials capitulated and knuckled
to 'pressure,' or words to that effect. Why a simple letter from the ADL
would terrify elected men is still a mystery. I would like to know the
answer myself.
So today, the wicked and ignorant celebrate the deserving end of a man
who claimed the name of Christ, who attended the Communist Highlander
Folk School, Monteagle, Tennessee, with another Red, Rosa Parks, with
do-gooder Eleanor Roosevelt whose 'religion' and 'tender feelings' toward
'those less fortunate than she,' and now we are FORCED to hire whatever
the ACLU threatens us to do, via mafia-like 'affirmative action.' The
result: NO EMPLOYEES, NO LIBERTY, NO PRODUCTION, HIGHER TAXATION,
SWELLED BUREAUCRACIES, AND A MASSIVE WELFARE SYSTEM WHICH THE STUPID AND
SLOTHFUL WHITE PEOPLE HAVE TAKEN TO BE THEIR 'ENTITLEMENT.'
Those of us who remember now are comforted that the truth is being
disseminated via the web, an avenue for the testimonies of the offended
whose mouths were shut or ignored by a licentious and self-serving press.
The following poem I wrote the day of Byron de la Beckwith's funeral and
read it the service is the truth. For those veterans who have been
misused and ignored and who know that the Communism they fought in Europe
is now HERE, let the Comfort of the Holy Ghost satisfy thy soul, knowing
that "there is a reward for the righteous and there is a God that judgeth
in the earth." His Name is the Lord of Hosts, Master of Campaigns, and
Judge of the Whole Earth.

JUSTICE MEETS BYRON DeLa BECKWITH
Written for his funeral

For God and Country
Justice pounds a mighty gavel where there is a great white throne
Calls to order all the rabble and the curious and lone.
Comes the Magistrate so hoary - He Whose Eyes are bright with flame,
And Whose Feet passed through the Furnace, and the Righteous know His
Name.
"Byron Beckwith," sounds the Bailiff, "Come be heard and sound your
cause;
You will find the Judge is gracious And He sifts through His Own Laws."
In the offing is the rabble, full of Journalism's lore,
With a hatchet for a camera and their dollar from their Store.
Beckwith halts as he comes forward, "Do you limp, sir?" asks the Court.
"Yes, Your Honour," thus he answers; "I was wounded at the Fort.
As a vet'ran I so gladly waged a war for my dear cause,
For the Communists were coming and my valor made them pause."
"Where your medals, then old soldier, for resisting foreign Red,
And for fighting for the presses so the Bill of Right's not dead?"
"Oh, I never went for honors but my wrath would never cease,
When the foreign reds we battled over here found great increase."
"Tis my fourth and final trial...." "What?!" the Judge says, "What was
done?"
"Well, my friends in great high places were not satisfied with one."
Silence fell for half an hour, As the Judge rose from his seat.
"Call the heirs and sons to glory, for Calamity's defeat.
"Pick a victim from their judges, let them try him o'er and o'er,
Till the verdict's what you wanted And your mercy they implore.
Write a glowing half-way story; Issue now YOUR press release,
Smear the names to satisfaction, then surround with your police."
"Yes, your Honour," echoed Widow, "they will reap just what they sowed,
And the whirlwind marries lesser winds that all the lies bestowed."
"For a final touch of justice to this ancient Man of War,
Let the syndicated mistress from her lover's arms be torn."
"From the depths of Mississippi to the Tennessean's hills;
Sing a song of 'Hallelujah' for the payday of the Bills.
Let Old Glory join her Master; fill the Black Moriah's cars
As the Cold War honors veterans who put stars behind the bars."
Mr. Beckwith sighs so deeply and his Widow through her tears,
Lift their eyes to Righteous Justice, "Who will pay us for the years,
When we languished in the prison while our hearts in two were torn?"
"Rest in Peace, thy day is coming, For thy Grandson has been born."

Dear Mr. Anderson:
There are two things I wish to say regarding articles I have read in the
paper. I am a firm supporter of newspapers and thank the Lord for our
American history of newspapers.
First, the recent investigations into the Depts. of Safety, Highway
Patrol and ultimately Commerce and Insurance are an answer to my
prayers. "It is a righteous thing to recompense tribulation to them that
trouble you." In 1991 I rescinded my 'social security' number out of firm
convictions that the SS system was an entire fraud, and I wanted to show
that dependence on the God of our Fathers was successful to a good old
age (Psalm 91). Laws followed which forbid licenses without a 'social
security' number, but the legislature had enough sense (under Rep.
Shirley Duer) to make exceptions upon request. This followed my pursuit
through Court, the legislature and the Governor (Ned McWherter who wrote
me in a letter that he had no jurisdiction over the Dept. of Safety!!!).
But in 1996, under 42 USC 666, the State accepted a bribe ($260 million,
from the HHS) in the form of a mandated grant which required SSN's on ALL
license applications WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Pleadings to Sen. Ben Atchley
and State Atty. Roger Hutto were basically ignored. I was considered so
much chattel in the face of the money the Department would get. I sued
the State in Judge Carol McCoy's court (Metro in Nashville); then, the
Governor wrote an Executive Order which stated that any person who HAD
EVER HAD A NUMBER COULD NOT GET A LICENSE WITHOUT FURNISHING THE
'NUMBER.' This cleared the way for illegals and non-Americans to get
licenses while I, and other good Tennesseans of integrity were kept as
criminals. This was a spiteful measure because we had challenged the
stupidity of mandates.
Mistake, indeed! This was a wholesale act of 'framing mischief by a law."
The people, including myself, who refused this Number out of integrity,
are Christians. I carried out the six years of covering Tennessee County
Commissions for the Ten Commandments under jeopardy of being arrested.
Others had to go to work to support their families under such stupid
duress, living in daily fear of facing an uncaring judge. It has cost us
much money and much time in pursuit of this integrity. But the "Lord
hears the prayers of the righteous." I have prayed specifically recently
for the Lord to utterly destroy effected departments, that His Long Arm
would reach down and be rewarder of these evil deeds. I have spend hours
calling and pleading, warning, and other admonitions to all the
departments, including the Attorney General's office where a secretary
once told a bold-faced lie about my call and sent police to my house
(which officers know my testimony and didn't believe her).
God hears our prayers. The wickedness of mandated/grants has caused
untold suffering in the hearts of true Americans. Grieved politicians
have tried to satisfy these awful requirements and begged for more money
to implement them. I have tried unsuccessfully to get all our elected
leadership to tell me who would be so malicious as to write such
conditions into law, but they end up in telling me off, or as Rep. Zach
Wamp did, ordered me by certified letter to never call his office
again!!! I haven't.
Secondly, Sr. U.S.Dist Judge E. Allan Edgar, your paper, 1/27/06, stated
that "members of the federal legislative branch are attempting to 'erode
the independence of the judiciary' " I can't believe this man is thinking
clearly. I have watched as his court has crucified those who have tried
to gain justice, particularly regarding the income tax cases. Men who
dared to stand on the U.S. Constitution and the blood of our forefathers,
while he basically ignored their highly-principled arguments and send
them to the most awful prisons. The case of Robert C. Bartlett, in which
I was a witness, stands as the most horrible example, though there were
others. Not only was he sentenced by Judge Edgar to the worst prison but
his wife was forced to go to work in a laundry to support her and her
family. This man did what he did out of sheer American integrity. He is
not the only one. There were others, as I said.
Count the fact that in this Court the people of Hamilton County lost
their desires in posting the Ten Commandments by these wicked judges who
favor the ACLU!!! Under attack? Who is under attack, indeed! What reason
exists why these judges should not be impeached at once?!!!
I can tell you that the prayers of the little Claudette Bartletts and
myself are heard before the Judgment Seat of Christ. How many faceless
people in Hamilton County have wept in horror as the ACLU walked away
with their right to post God's Law!!
The 85 counties of Tennessee who adopted my Resolution that they have a
God-given Right to post God's law stand for the majority. The cowardly 9
who tabled it would have endorsed it had it not been for the likes of the
Judge Edgar's of the State. The ONE , THE RICHEST COUNTY, Williamson, who
VOTED AGAINST IT, stand as an eternal witness against that horrible
place. The citizens who live there have been horrified that this took
place, but they fear the Judge Edgar's of this nation.
The day will come, and is nearing fast, when the impeachments start, that
we will be able to say to the judiciary what has been written in so many
Orders of rejection from these judges: "You have shown no grounds
whereby relief may be granted."
I have put myself out once more for public office. Barring a miracle, I
will not receive more than the 3,000 votes I got the last time against
Rep. Wamp, spending not more than $50.00, or the 5,000 state-wide votes
which I got against Sen. Alexander (spending not more than $600.00). It
is most likely that your endorsement will go for those who can 'bring the
most money into the area' through the unConstitutional revenue-sharing
which takes MY HUSBAND'S INCOME AND SHIFTS IT AROUND TO BUILD COLOSSAL
TOURIST TRAPS AND SCHOOLS OF INFIDELITY WHILE WE ARE PUT UNDER THE
JEOPARDY OF BEING TRIED BEFORE THE JUDGE EDGAR'S OF THE NATION, WHO HAVE
NO STOMACH FOR AMERICANISM, BUT RATHER PERFORM THEIR DUTIES FOR THE IRS,
HUD, HHS, EPA AND OTHER ABC LECHEROUS AGENCIES.
My record is clear. I am forbidden to drive a car for over a year now
because I have in all good conscience rescinded my 'social security
number.' I do not take drugs or alcohol. I have good faculties and a
clear head. We have had to carry out our normal occupations under severe
restrictions. My husband has to do all the work and all the delivery. I
have to beg for a ride to carry out my patriotic duties to the veterans
and the patriotic organizations to which I belong. I can't go to see my
grandchildren when they are sick or take them along with me as we go
shopping. I know none of these things will move you or persuade you but
it is a fact.
These things are written for the record. But I will say to you that
during this Culture War, of which I am a veteran, God has provided for me
in unusual ways. Once when I was walking to town, some two miles away,
His Providence brought me a ride with the sister of my State Senator. On
the way back, our School Superintendent, Sue Porter, who proudly
displayed the Hamilton County copy of the Ten Commandments which we
bought at auction, picked me up and brought me home. It is humiliating
for Americans to beg, however, the Lord has kept my head high, for I
'know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that
which I have committed unto Him, against THAT DAY!
For these things, I am putting myself out for office again, to hunt down
those who write mandates and ask them WHY they made such requirements! I
want the world to know what kind of people inhabit this dedicated
American real estate! I want to move Washington to begin impeachment
against the judges who are in violation of the Bill of Rights. I want
that copy of the Bill of Rights which is in the Federal Building, by
which the judges walk every day, in Rhea County. It is trampled on by the
judges there. Why should they have it? They do not care for it.
In the meantime, I am praying for the Lord to execute the just penalty
against these offenders of our Ten Commandments, Declaration of
Independence and the Bill of Rights. Their preachers who have refused to
teach them Americanism will also fall with them.
You have witnessed firsthand the transgressions against our God-given
Rights during the last 50 years. My Mother who was a reputable and
respected citizen of Hamilton County called me when MLK and his hordes
were taking over Chattanooga and said the tanks were rolling down
McCallie Avenue. Some peaceful gathering, this. One thing the Lord has
blessed me with, along with good health, is a good memory, all glory be
to Him.
May His Kingdom come on earth, in the United States, in Tennessee,
Hamilton County and Rhea County, as it is in heaven. There is no respect
of persons with Him Who will by no means acquit the wicked, so that a
"man may say, There is a Reward for the wicked; there is a God that
judgeth in the earth.!!!"

Dear Sir:
The Chattanooga newspaper honored Commissioner J. C. Fugate with the
title of "Anti-Gay Commissioner," in its notice of his resigning. In so
doing, J. C. joins the vast multitude of kings, governments, judges,
commissions, all the saints of God from Genesis to Revelation, and the
whole history of Tennessee and the United States from 1620 to the days
of the affirmative-action, anti-Lord's-Prayer followers of Madelyn Murray
Ohare.
The aforementioned saints of God all have the endorsement of the Holy
Trinity of Almighty God, as recorded in the King James Bible.. Quite a
company to join, I would say.
As pro se defender of God and the Bible in the 1994 Sodomy case, Campbell
v. Sundquist, I introduced the testimony of Justice Shea of Providence,
Rhode Island. This Justice styled his words of condemnation in the Boy
Scout case with the term, "the heinous and abominable crime of sodomy."
There is a great company of witnesses who have taken their stand against
the perversion of right. The question is, as the song goes, "Is Your Name
Written There?"
You are to be commended for your newspaper recognition of this great act
by J. C. Fugate.

I will -
1. Reinstate Constitutional boundaries prior to ACLU judicial takeover.
2. Disallow religious participation of all religions who do not endorse the Bill of Rights as it is written.
3. Enter Amendment 28 to the U.S. Constitution as follows:
Sect. 1. By this article, the 16th Amendment is hereby made void.
4. It shall be unlawful to impose taxes on income, from whatever source derived.
5. Enact the Social Security Rebate Plan. All "social security" investments will be made entirely voluntary. Voluntary application for total refund of all deductions for social security will be made available, including interest and penalties at the rate which would be charged by the IRS, as for example in the case of Peggy Cook Cobb v USA. Funds to pay recipients of the Social Security Rebate Plan will come from foreign aid. Any person who wishes to remain in the Social Security system at their current rate may do so until the year 2020, at which time the system will be terminated.
6. Use of the Social Security number will be restricted to the Social Security Administration exclusively. Penalties for such use will begin at $1,000 per infraction and will be retroactive to the date of the Privacy Act.
7. The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States and its reaffirmation of our Christian heritage in the words, IN GOD WE TRUST, shall be repeated at the beginning of each session of Congress and copies of this shall be posted, along with the Ten Commandments, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence in each Congressional office.

Shortly after the Waco disaster, U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno told the media and Congress she ordered the attack because she had evidence that the almost two dozen children inside the compound were being abused and were in danger of further abuse. However, her claims of child abuse have now been disproven. In fact, some members of Congress have admitted they believed Reno was lying during her testimony. Sonny Bono, knew she was lying! Patriot's Day commemorates the battle of Lexington and Concord which were fought on April 19, 1775. Part of the history of this famous revolutionary battle was the midnight ride of Paul Revere and William Dawes. The Sons of the American Revolution in Massachusetts were largely responsible for the official recognition of the event.

Paul Revere's Ride

Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,

You know the rest. In the books you have read
How the British Regulars fired and fled,---

From behind each fence and farmyard wall,
Chasing the redcoats down the lane,
Then crossing the fields to emerge again
Under the trees at the turn of the road,
And only pausing to fire and load.
So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm,---
A cry of defiance, and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo for evermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear

Another short, good essay from Mrs. Griffin. Since there's been no newz hubbub about this election I guess Judge Moore doesn't standa chance, but it's good to know peopel like him are willing to take a stand and noise up issues.
Judge Roy Moore is up for election for Alabama Governor tomorrow, Lord willing, should tomorrow come.
This is a time for deep contrition on the part of careless, gambling, drunken, entertained Americans. The Lord has seen the tears of the plain people of Alabama, and their friends across the nation who have sat astonished as Title 42 judges ran over them with their legalized ACLU tanks and riddled them with their litigous assault rifles. The soul of the Americans has suffered much under this tyranny.
The legal system of Alabama murdered Christ. Their punishment is waiting to be poured out from the Lord. Governor Riley did nothing to save Judge Moore, who was not there to promote himself, rather he acted as judges are supposed to act - a normal deed in the United States to put the Covenant of Almighty God in his courtroom.
But those who promote the millions made on professional sports, gambling, alcohol, pornography advertising refuse to acknowledge God and wrecked the hopes of millions of good Alabamians.
If you are fear God but are a backslider, will you agree to fast and pray tomorrow, after you have repented of your sins (II Chron. 7:14), your violations of the Lord's Day, your entertainments and slovenliness and who knows what else? The Lord is going to save the remnant who trust in Him and have kept themselves from the idolatries of this selfish and hedonistic age, as He did the three Hebrew children and gave the Book of
Hebrews to His children now. But woe to those who don't care for our Christian heritage.

After the Rhea County Commission meeting the 18th of July, I was travelling toward home from the meeting and passed the latest innovation to the city of Dayton - a Mexican grocery store. Plastered with Spanish and having a Mexican flag stuck on the back window, it ired me to see that there was such a monstrosity right in the heart of our little town.
I went into the store and a young man sat there and could speak no American at all. Seeing this effrontery and being unable to communicate with him, I tore it off the door and left. Of all the nerve! It was not stolen; it was an act of war! I have no respect for this kind of force.
The next day or two I saw they had put up another, LARGER one in the front window. I went to a lot of trouble calling the property assessor's office to see who owned this business, which was formerly Roger's Drug Store. I was finally given the name of a Mexican and calling this number, heard one which I assumed was a Mexican speaking Spanish answer the machine with some unintelligible message. I then said in so many English words that I didn't appreciate their having a Mexican flag in downtown Dayton and asked them to remove it. And if they couldn't speak English to leave,or words to that effect.
On July 22, I went to Morristown in Hamblen County, Tennessee, to address a rally of citizens at the VFW Building. This rally had come about as a result of a previous rally there. The circumstances are chilling in light of Tennessee's great God-fearing and righteous heritage. Tom Lowe, Commissioner of Hamblen County, had called a rally at their Court House to show the people what illegals were costing the County. The crowd was large and responsive to this outrage. However, that rally was interrupted by a huge intervention by local officers with the help of the Tennessee Highway Patrol who hovered the meeting with helicopters, SWAT teams, and other paraphernalia of interruption. One disabled American veteran, Ted Ray Mitchell, was actually arrested for carrying an American flag on a pole, because authorities claimed that the pole was a potentially 'dangerous weapon'!!! H goes to trial in September. This disgraceful conduct which included tazering this patriotic American
resulted in a SECOND rally at the VFW building in Morristown where I was invited to address 81 citizens.
At the July 22 rally, I used the Mexican flag which I removed from its insulting place of prominence and told the crowd that THIS was NOT our American flag. I received three standing ovations during this meeting and give all glory to God for His blessing.
A day or two later, I had a call from the City Police Officer who asked me if I was the one who removed the flag. I said yes. He then said words which I value more than much silver - he said, "I knew you would tell me the truth." Where in this vain and wicked age can you find people whose word is their bond and the police officer would say, "I knew you would tell me the truth." It was a special blessing.
At any rate, days went by until today, August 8, 2006, I received a call from Chief of Police Chris Sneed who told me there was an arrest warrant waiting for me at the jail and I needed to come down and sign some papers. The papers included booking me for theft, vandalism and violation of civil rights (!). After I was fingerprinted, I was allowed to bond out on a $5,000 bond and put down $512.00 to save me from jail. Based on my good reputation as a citizen, I should have been released on my own recognizance, nevertheless that is the case.
The hearing is today. It is an honor to suffer for your country's sake, even if it is in a Culture War and an insidious invasion by people who think we are helpless little pigs who have no defender. They are wrong. I have a Great Defender. His Name is Jesus Christ the Righteous, the One Who was with Daniel in the lion's den, and the One Who stood by Charles Finney and a thousand hosts of preachers and Christians who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake.
If there is anyone out there who knows how to reach the Mexican Consulate, would you be so kind as to send this to him for me.

Of all the nerve, your people come into our town, speak Spanish, put up their alien flags and expect us to take it laying down.
If all the officials are cowards, if all the businessmen are lawless capitalists, and all the people helpless under cowardly, unpatriotic leadership, I will do what I can as one individual to show my displeasure and love of my country.
You can be sure the inactivity on the part of veterans and patriots is no sign of love for your effrontery or that their hearts are not grieved and broken. They just wait for the Lord to execute His Wrath as He did in avenging the death of Davy Crockett.
With God's Help, we won.

In 1977 or 1978, because I committed the heinous crime of suing the IRS
and bringing them into question about my Mother's Estate, I was placed by
a Federal Grand Jury under investigation, claiming I had PROBABLY some
'hidden properties." I suppose they never heard of an honest person who
dared to fight the Beast with an honest heart and patriotic heart. The
chief inquisitor was James M. Hammonds, of the Internal Revenue Service's
Federal Invetigation division. Several details in this are most
intiguing but too long for this email. However, at one point I advised
him that most likely his Grandmother in Alabama had prayed for him and
that he should quit his job annoying everyone and go back to Alabama.
TODAY, after 30 years, Chattanooga Times/Free Press headline, Page B3,
EX-IRS AGENT...CHARGED WITH FRAUD.
It seems Mr. James M. Hammonds, a former Inernal Revenue Service agent
from Cleveland, Tennessee, with some attorneys were collaborating with an
adult entertainment business owner. "...former IRS agent James M.
Hammonds and attorneys...face federal charges in the Middle District of
Tennessee..."Mr. Hammonds, who operated Financial Investigations, Inc.
faces one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States and eight
counts of aiding in the preparation of false income tax returns, court
records show..."Mr. Hammonds conspired to hide assets and income for (the
adult entertainment business owner) through 'deceitful and dishonest
means,' records show."
Luke 18 - there was a woman who cried night and day, avenge me of my
adversaries...He will answer speedily though he bear long with them...
Now I have been brought to trial by ANOTHER Grand Jury, made up of my
neighbors who have charged me with unjust charges, for which I have plead
NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF PATRIOTISM.
We will see whether time will not speed up, for the Elect's sake.

I guess the sick, near-universal equating of militarism with patriotism has its benefits. Soldiers who "fought for their country in meaningless situations half a world from it sometimes have the guts to act against treason, while the sheeple at large simply go about their business.
