John Edward's proposal for universal health care is so far out in left field, one must question the pompous one's sanity.
Having become disillusioned with the so-called "miracles of modern medicine" many decades ago, I attribute my longevity andabove-average health (for age 85) to my avoidance of medical doctors, clinics, hospitals and pharmaceutical drugs like the plague--whenever possible.
Edwards is well advised to read "Death by Modern Medicine" by Carolyn Dean, MD, ND. At this point I have neither purchased nor read the book, but have researched it extensively beginningwith Google. I now feel compelled to add the volume to my personal collection.
Rx drugs don't cure anything. They merelyoffer temporary relief to symptoms of disease, and nearly always do more harm than good in the long term. In fact, they are one of the leading causes of death in America. I have lost many relatives and friends, not to disease, but to Rx poisons prescribed for their disease by traditional medical practitioners whosetop priority is thebottom line.
The pharmaceutical-medical complex doesn't want us to be well. Our being well would raise hell withits multi-gazillion dollar gravytrain.
John Edwards proposesforcing every Americanto involuntarily submit to "death by modern medicine." Anybody who now would vote for this lunatic is equally as crazy as him.
