To teach a child about evolution is
very dangerous because it can trigger major emotional issues. One
must teach a child about evolution with a thorough grounding of
philosophy and a respectable religion in order to give meaning to the
kids life. If a child thinks that natural selection is the end
all be all, then life will lose meaning to him unless he can think
deeper.

Charles Darwin was a minister and a very religous Christian. He hesitated publishing The Origin of Species</span>
for 20 years because he feared shunning from the Christian
community. Darwin knew that people could misinterpret evolution
to discredit the free will bestowed upon us in the Bible.

In other areas of science a theory is not accepted as fact until evidence of it can be observed and is repeatable. Cross specie evolution from beast to man has never been observed, much less repeated. The purpose of teaching this theory as fact is to discredit Christianity. The result of teaching children that they descended from beasts is that they behave like beasts. That has been observed and is repeatable.
