Tom Benson, performer of the"Benson Boogie" 50-yard-line dance whenever his Saints infrequently would win a home game, has complained bitterly for years that the Louisiana Superdome just isn't a satisfactory facility anymore. Why, it doesn't hold enough Sky-boxes for rich oil company execs, nor enough seats (over 70,000!) to turn a decent profit. Tommy B., every year, threatens to ship his Saints to Utopia, where the bowing-and-scraping fans will pack his perfect new stadium unto his eternal enrichment. Even when the Saints ssuucckk.


Mother Nature has delivered Tom his wish. The Superdome is gravely damaged by Katrina. Now he can move his team to Utopia after all. Not bad for a car salesman.

Yesterday, I visited my brother out on L.I. and we watched a NFL game (Jets vsChiefs). I hadn't seen a pro game in 4-5 yrs. I could't believe what I was watching. So this is what the NFL is selling to the public as "professional football" today. The only thing I can think of to describewhat I saw isMarx Brothers comedy. It's a very long time since I played football as a boy in H.S., but I can assure you that if we had gone out and played like that, our coach, who wasn't amused by complete stupidity and lack of concentration as Isaw on the TV yesterday, would've taken us off the field by halftime and sent us home.Absolute garbage...

The Saints are annually one of the blackest teams in the NFL. Not a single player on the team had his house destroyed or even damaged, that I'm aware of. This tells one that the players are either mercenaries who don't live in or near the city they play for; or that they live in the city's "environs" butfar enough away not to have been affected by the floodingthat followedthe bursting ofNew Orleans'levees.

The ability to see and comprehend the events that are leading to
disaster are hard for some people to understand, and it is not
politically incorrect to mourn the lost of a football game like is to
mourn the lost of one’s country.

Buddy D was Right
Sadly, Buddy D passed away last year. Buddy DiLiberto was the major sports commentator on WWL radio-870 for decades, easily the most popular sports personality in New Orleans. Buddy was crass and brash and sometimes boorish, but an astute observer of the "business" side of sport. Mercilessly Buddy D would sniff out an owner, coach, manager, or player who was obviously milking the system. I enjoyed his show immensely. Buddy and Mike Ditka used to do a show from Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis [which is now a pile of rubble], and the show was just a hoot.
Buddy's shining hour was taking a Saints football player to task for undedicated play. And not just any player, but one who was paid by WWL for his own weekly syndicated radio show [editorial: I detest the idea of giving conceited football players their own personal radio forums to gloat and make crude remarks]. This player, one Reynaldo Turnbull, was a Saints linebacker during their brief glory years (early 1990s) when Jim Mora founded a pretty good team. Ol' Reynaldo was a decent linebacker for a year, then got paid the biggus buckus, and quickly achieved lazy and "prima donna" behaviors. One Wednesday night on the "Reynaldo Turnbull Show" at 1830 hrs CDT, Reynaldo ran smack into an unsympathetic Buddy D who blasted Turnbull for a Sunday full of missed tackles and poor pass rushing. Turnbull and Buddy D traded increasingly sharp jabs until they were screaming at each other on the air.
To WWL's credit, they pulled the plug on ol' Reynaldo and his show. Buddy D kept right on cooking, night after night, with his regular callers-in, "Sid from Jefferson," "Abdul the Tentmaker", and "Bubba on the Magic Carpet." Buddy D was an honest homer and sports guy. Tom Bensonisthe greedy and vain owner. And Reynaldo like countless football arseholes, largely of the My-nori-ty background [Turnbull hailed from the Virgin Islands, I think the British variety], a non-dedicated, venal weasel.
Moral of story: Don is right about Saint's players being disconnected from the rank-n-file New Orleans resident. But that's universal. Rich spoiled NFLers of thechosen pedigree are nearly all nasties like ReynaldoEdited by: Realgeorge

I think that somehow, a point of saturation has been reached with the Blacks in "sports" (remember, sports is a business). I think there's a movement on (at this point, slow) to move away from the Black athlete. Mainly because they're bad for business (most recent incident involving the Minn. Vikings - Caste Football). I've seen such things before in other industries. For instance, the medicalinsurance industry finally reacted to the insanity of doctors overcharging and working the system. The insurance industry has reacted to the ridiculous accident litigation within the construction industry, etc.


Of course, this will be a slow process, but it will happen. Actually, I think this nonsense with the Spanish baseball players is part of getting away from American blacks. In time, I think they'll be phased out as well. In basketball, everybody can see all these Europeans coming in. Wasn't the NBA, MVP a white guy, etc.?

I hope you guys are right but you seem overly optimistic to me. The system never does anything in a pro-white direction. The white athlete will always play second fiddle to the black athlete because whites have to be degraded at all costs as part of the transformation of the U.S. into a non-white country. The only thing that will change the status quo is a revolt of the white sports fan, and the white sports fan, like the white American in general, will put up with anything as long as his own situation is not affected.

Notre Dame did get rid of an incompetent black coach, but they're playing with the players he recruited, so if they're whiter its because the black coach recruited those players. And it's all relative, according to Caste Football very few white players are offered scholarships at most positions. Until that changes football will remain black dominated.


The Angels were almost all white in 2002 when they won the World Series and it didn't change anything. In fact, an hispanic owner bought the team and got rid of a lot of the good white players. Most baseball teams are doing everything they can to add hispanics to their roster.


If the NBA nears bankruptcy then they might deliberately whiten the league. But the stands have been filled with middle aged white men for decades now cheering on all black teams. It's been a successful formula. I see them more as tinkering at the edges trying to tone down the worst of the ghetto influences rather than making major changes.

Sometimes one wonders if the egalitarians in
businesses want all the “Civil Rights” laws and rules so that they can
hire non-whites and not have to be worried about some business starting
up and using only Whites and putting them out of business.

The Federal Civil Service of the USofA at one time used to hire Best and Brightest for scientific and military agencies, to excellent effect. For example, the Naval Research Laboratory of the 1940s was a veritable Grad School of most excellent physicists, chemists, oceanographers, engineers etc., and outstanding inventions and projects were the result. A strenuous and difficult Civil Service Exam was administered to prospective employs, and quality control of hires was thus executed in a successful manner.


Since those times the Civil Service Exam has disappeared, sane standards of hiring and all traditionality has been tossed to the winds. The result is the notorious "Government Worker" of today, chock full of diversity and AA hiring, no exam, no standards, with predictable results. "Service with a Snarl" is the new rule of the US Civil Servant in many agencies.


Gents, I got a bit off subject in a few previous rants, sorry about that. Would like to offer a comment, though: Please don't misconstrue my comments to belie an optimism. Far from an optimistic viewpoint on the matter of White America, I am a realist and expecting miserable times in general for our people. I merely mean to point out that, from many years of studying the subject, that I think the Super Elites have a surprise in store for a number of their beneficiaries.


The Ebon millions were placed into North America for one single purpose, and that was to destabilize and demoralizethe existing White culture and government and institutions. That's very true. The Houston Astros don't have a single black American on their team but are in the World Series. Their opponent, the Chicago White Sox, only have a few, but that will change neither the "black athletic superiority" myth that almost all white Americans fervently believe in, nor will it change the hiring practices of Major League Baseball teams, most of whom are spending much of their developmental resources in Latin America, because hispanics are cheaper to sign and develop and because of the prevailing ideological orthodoxy of multiculturalism.

The owners wantonly enough whites to draw the predominately white crowds. White sports enthusiasts have become spell-bound by demons from hell. There is nothing that seems to break through to thesavages. What happens on the field is a reflection of what sits in the stands. Anything but white is hired because it is a replacement strategy. The corporate owners in America are maintaining the agenda set forth by their bosses. In management & labor-replacement. Every time the immigrants come in the bankers give them housing loans which in turn causes white-flight which gives the bankers & real estate developers more people toloan to. SPORTS/WORK


It's interesting that most of the contestants on those strongman contests on TV are white guys. Another point is that all the competitions are based loosely on the idea of work.


Once, I was watching one of these things with a white guy and a black guycompeting against each other. The contest was unloading a pallet (each had there own pallet of maybe thirty blocks) of cinder block from the base of an inclined ramp, carrying them up the ramp and placing them on a platform (4ft. high?). Of course, the black guy had muscles coming out of his muscles. Anyway, when the competition began, I couldn't believe what I was watching. The black guy was competely unable to stay anywhere near the white guy. At the end (when the white guy had finished his pallet), the black guy had maybe seven blocks up on the platform.


My point is that, if the competition has nothing to do with anything productive, blacks have a chance. However, if the idea of work comes into the contest, they seem to be lost. Has anyone else noticed this?

Whites totally dominate strength-related athletic events. Very few whites notice this because the few black-dominated sports -- basketball, football, sprinting -- get the lion's share of media publicity and fawning, hardly a coincidence.


Manypeople do seem to be intimidated by blacks who look "cut." However, looking good has little to do with actual performance. Former NFL defensive linemen Tony Siragusa once said of such types, "Look like Tarzan, play like Jane." smileys/smiley36.gif

Mr. Benson is making his push to move the Saints to San Antonio, and the locals are boiled as a bushel of crawfish! The morning article describes a junked refrigerator somewhere in New Orleans, in the post-Katrina rubble, bearing a sign reading "Do Not Open - Benson inside!"
A local resident complains,"It's wrong to kick the city and the state while we're down, taking the last hope that we have," Noelle McKoin said after watching last Sunday's game. "It's something we look forward to every Sunday, win or lose. It's something that gives everybody something to cheer for, and that's what we need right now."
Some interesting racial dynamics simmer here, with interior New Orleans nearly 100 percent black. The returning refugee population may have a different makeup. Local businesses are taking up the boycott of automobiles for sale by the legion of Benson-owned dealerships. Ah, the Big Easy! More than ever the Superdome will look good in the rear view mirror.
