Surely another major weasel word is "first" -- as in "David Dinkins was the first African-American ever elected as mayor of New York," etc. etc., blah blah. This is normally stated cold with no strings attached, but the clear implication is that in the writer's warped little mind the mere fact of getting a black (or woman, etc.) elected to such and such spot is related to the cosmic essence of being human in some fashion. Usually the person in questionis a forcible test case by liberals and a total disaster -- but it's the "first" part that goes down in history as earthshaking, not the disaster they cause. Dinkins was certainly awful. The girls who gave us the first lesbian kiss on TV instantly hit the skids as a result, along the show in which this obscenity was perpetrated. Well, the latest case (it's actually everywhere you turn) in my case is an article Wiki happens to have linked as part of today's hot news --

I thiought we were going to dwell in a"colorblind society" happily ever after, where racial and gender distinctions would never even be thought of, much less pounded like liberal scribblers do. Somebody tell me when the "colorblind society" gets here, and I'll bet you $1,000 it features more, not less, LIBERAL DIVERSITY-MONGERING than we've got now. If everybody's a drab shade of tan by then, the din will be over the "heroes" that got us to that point in time -- you know, David Dinkins, Alberto Fujimori, Sandra O'Connor and all that?

Hah! That's RICH -- thanx, Michael. maybe they'll try to work their magic on babies prenatally next. Actually, I've always said liberals would, given enough time in which to further work the public over, pass laws requiring X percentage of people to marry outside their race. That's because our people never stopped them re busing, "affirmative action," open housing etc. Well, legislatingintermarriage would be a great way for them to end "racism" wouldn't it?

Speaking of so-called “liberals,” I saw a posting yesterday regarding South Africa since the ANU took over—thanks, in large part, to “our”(?) government’s (and the UK’s) sanctions and general undermining of the white government for 25 years or more.

Well, an "educational" group (I can just picture it!)in Johannesburg came up with an interesting statistic—in a three year remedial program, 50 percent dropped out, 28 percent are still in the system FIVE years later, and only 22 percent graduated (my suspicion is that most of them were graduated just to get rid of them).

Honestly, there are times when reading such reports that I slam down my hands and shake my head, partly in despair and partly in disbelief.

Are “liberals” really that stupid and blind to reality when they say that race is merely a social construct, or is it because of some trauma in early childhood they are unconsciously trying to destroy their own society? To our extreme detriment, these are the psychopaths who control what passes for “education” for the past 40 years or so, and control much of public opinion.

I cannot understand these people—and, frankly, I’m not sure I even want to understand them.

It's really very simple, Wolf. We are all accountable for our own sins, mistakes and shortcomings, but there's more to the picture than that. When someone else goads, tempts, prods, bribes, hustles, threatens, litigates, bullies and bamboozles us into folly, it's no use pretending that other party is an innocent bystander.

When this is done to other races that are not generally blessed with the same intellectual wattage as others -- and those races are additionally churned, agitated, inflamed, flattered, and deluded into getting with the program inquestion -- it spells catastrophe for all, even the instigators themselves. Yes,that partmakes no sense but that's how it is. Liberalism and evil always contain the seeds of their own destruction.

Some people just prey on the weaknesses and vanities of others -- or even their strengths and glories -- to get where they want to be. Hey, read the story of Adam and Eve in Gen. 2ff -- it's a perfect figure of what's happened to America. Don't miss God's promise of liberation and redemption in the "proto-evangelion", verse 3:15. IMO, "liberals" (bad use for an otherwise good English word) have a religion. It is humanism/statism.

In matters of race and reason, they are fanatical about their religion. They believe they own the moral high ground, and no one else does.Their bible/daily devotional, the MSM (NYT, WP, television, etc), says so.

"Liberals" are gov't supremacists. That is how they force and enforce their religion on others. Thru control, mostly control of others. Using gov't force, they "evangelise" the world with their religion. The goal is a manmade "peace" and utopia which is freeand separated from Biblical law and grace.

Their religion points to a one world gov't and a beast and false prophet.

IMO, "liberals" think more like women. That's what sometimes makes them hard to figure out. Liberal men have effeminate mental processes. They are only men physically. At some point in their life, they crossed the line, and took on effeminate thought patterns. "Liberal" women like being feminazis and desire control over men. And it's easier to control effeminate, playboy men than any other.

"Liberals" also believe whites are intrinsically more evil than other races.

Basically, "liberals" are anti-Christian. Combining that bigotry with their racial bigotry against whites, it's easy to see why they are focussed on destroying the South.

Presidente Bush is not a conservative. Never has been. He fits the description of a liberal better, if those are the only two choices.

It already has, it's just expressed differently -- individual black-on-white assaults, and racially motivated murders by the tens of thousands annually rather than largescale"organized mayhem." And generalized, open hostility towards whites by blacks and hispanics becomes more commonplace every year.

The other racial ingredient is systematic and institutionalized discrimination against lower class and middle class whites by upper class whites by way of the power structure combined with psy-war by the media, conditions which also exist in Europe.

Explain it to me, diversity. I don't get it. Everyone in the feddle gummint and all the news weasels and the academia nuts and assorted distasteful do-gooders with goiterous self-admiration are always honking and blowing about how we need diversity. Why? What is it good for?

I think we need homogeneity. Probably the greatest desire of
humanity other than getting sex is avoiding diversity. Mostly,
people can't stand each other. I respect their judgement.

Diversity causes nothing but trouble. Think about it. Do old people want to hang around young people? No. Do young people want to hang around old people? Generally they would rather take poison. Do liberals and conservatives want to get within rifle range of each other? No. Except conservatives, because they have rifles. Southerners and damyanks cordially detest each other, except after a few beers, when they stop being cordial. Urban folk and country folk loathe each other. Management and labor, Marine boneheads and army pukes, dogs and cats, on and on, don't nobody much like nobody.

So why do we spend so much sweat and money trying to force people to do what they don't want to do? It's all bass-ackwards. What if we tried…well…freedom? What if the gummint just left people the hell alone?

Naahhhh.

Especially nobody wants racial togetherness. Shoving races together just makes them mad at each other. If they had any desire to be together, you wouldn't have to shove them, would you?

In any city I've been in, blacks and whites work together because they have to by law, and then they go home and complain about each other. Blacks live in black neighborhoods because they want to, and whites do the same if allowed. As soon as black kids get to college, they want black dorms. The whites already have white dorms, and they think that's just fine. Night clubs in Washington aren't racially opposed to either race, but you find very few of one in the clubs of the other.

What happens when a gang of Chinese come to America? They go live in Chinatown because they want to be among their own. They don't hate everybody else and everybody else doesn't hate them. They just aren't comfortable mixing. The second generation moves out, but that's because they aren't really Chinese but Chinese-shaped Americans, eat Big Macs and listen to wretched music. By the third generation they'll be counting on their fingers like whites, maybe.

Fact is, men and women don't want to be together more than some. Men think that women are slightly nuts and they're certainly explosive and you always have to be careful not to set them off and they get ornery if you talk dirty around them, although they do it with each other. God knows what women think about men. Probably that we're crude and watch football and aren't in touch with our inner slug and don't care about feelings. It's all true.

When I was a kid in the South, at dinner parties everybody would eat together. Then the women went into the living room to talk, and the men stood in the kitchen and drank bourbon and told off-color jokes. It seemed to work. It was nice being around the women because they were more civilized than we were, or at least acted it. But there's such a thing as too much civilization.

Now, if you look around the world, nearly all the trouble we have is because of diversity getting stuck together with other kinds of diversity. It just isn't a good idea. In Gay Pair-Eee, (which in fact is probably less than half gay) the North Africans burn everything the French own. The French Canadians hate the rest of the country. The Hutsis and Tutus in Burundi or wherever butcher each other with abandon and machetes. Moslems and Hindus go at it in Kashmir. It isn't even a good idea to let Redskins fans and Cowboys fans get too close together if ethylated.

What do you think would happen in the United States if all the
stuff'em-together laws were dropped? I'll tell you. In about ten
minutes the races would resegregate like whiskey and diesel oil.
I'll bet offices and companies would get to be mostly women or
mostly men before long because most of each flavor don't know how to get along with the other real well. It's more of an effort than with just one or the other.

In at least three ways, what diversity does besides irritate
everybody is to Sovietize the country. One way is that the gummint has to make hundreds, nay thousands of stupid laws to intrude where it's got no business because if it doesn't, people will find a way not to mix. You got to watch them like a hawk. If you say they've got to hire twenty percent minorities, they'll hire the minorities best at whatever their business is. The others won't get hired. So the gummint has to make detailed laws and make everybody fill out brainless forms and be watched by bureaucrats, probably affirmative-action hires themselves, who bungle everything because that's what government does.

The second way compulsory mixing Russifies things is that it makes everybody worry about being informed on. Since different groups don't much like each other, at least lots of the time, the gummint, or management, has to make saying so a crime punishable by firing. Otherwise folks would get mad and say what they thought of each other. You'd have the equivalent of bar-room brawls every whichawhere. So people are very careful who they talk to at the water cooler. The OGPU is listening.

Finally, mandatory diversity gelds the press. When by law or policy a newspaper has to hire homosexuals, women, blacks, browns and what have you, it loses the ability to offend any of them. In effect this is censorship. It doesn't have to be imposed. Practically speaking, you can't point out very pointedly that eighty-five percent of some sordid behavior is committed by people like your boss. Or even the next reporter over. You have to live with them. So you write correct
pabulum.

Sez me, we'd be better off if we had newspapers peopled exclusively by everything from loon commies singing the Internationale to bomb-everybody conservatives to race-based papers edited by Al Sharpton and David Duke. They could all fight with each other and keep each other straight. Fact is, with a diverse staff you don't get diverse published opinion. Homogeneous staffs would give you diverse newspapers. Then maybe readers wouldn't jump to the internet, the only diverse press we have.

Note: Last week I printed what to a photographer appeared to be (and probably was) an extremely posed photo of two soldiers in Iraq, and said that the rifle sight of one of them appeared to have the lens cover on. A reader corrected me:

Stanley Tookie Williams' ashes will be scattered in South Africa after a large and public funeral planned for early next week in Los Angeles, the co-author of his anti-gang books said today.

Barbara Becnel said Williams, who was executed early Tuesday, wanted his ashes to be scattered in Africa.

"He wanted to return to his ancestral home," Becnel said. "We chose South Africa because I know some members of the Mandela family."

Williams and Becnel met Winnie Mandela in 1996, when she visited San Quentin to speak to them about the Internet Project for Street Peace, a computer program that links at-risk youths in Richmond with young people in Capetown and Soweto.

The ex-wife of former South African President Nelson Mandela was one of numerous public figures who made unsuccessful appeals to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to grant clemency to Williams, who turned anti-gang activist after being convicted of four 1979 shotgun murders in the Los Angeles area.

The body of the 51-year-old Williams was removed today from San Quentin State Prison and taken to an Oakland mortuary. Becnel said the body will be transported to Los Angeles for a memorial service that will probably be held Tuesday.

A site has not been picked, "but it will be a large venue that can hold more than 16,000 people," Becnel said. Confirmed speakers include rapper Snoop Dogg, NAACP President Bruce Gordon and the Rev. Jesse Jackson, she said.

After the funeral, close friends will travel to South Africa for another ceremony and spreading of his ashes, she said...........

According to the Bible's Book of Revelation, the holy war that will bring the apocalypse will start only after Jews (of an indeterminate number) return to the holy land. Added Dec. 20: India is always a special case. Its aura of holy fascination among mystics and hippies, etc. is only exceeded by its many facets as an inferno of racism, sexism, and diversity chaos. Golly! Three in trouble for offence

POLICE released three suspects yesterday after admitting that they had been held in custody for several weeks just because they were black.

This might have been a big story, except that they were golliwoggs.

The dolls were seized from the window of a shop on suspicion of causing “alarm, harassment or distress” under Section 5 of the Public Order Act when West Mercia police received a complaint from a passer-by. They were returned to the custody of shopkeeper Donald Reynolds, owner of Pettifer’s hardware and general store in Bromyard, Herefordshire, after an investigation.

A police spokesman said that no further action was being taken but that Mr Reynolds had been advised not to display them “insensitively” in future.

The spokesman added: “Officers consulted appropriate partner agencies and the Crown Prosecution Service. No offences have been identified and the items will be returned. Suitable advice about the sensitivities of placing such items on display is being provided to the store owner. West Mercia Constabulary considers the matter to be closed.”

Mr Reynolds said that he had been the victim of “a ridiculous farce” which began with a phone call from police as he sat down to lunch on February 12. He was asked to bring a key to the shop, where he found an officer. “He said, ‘I’ve come about the gollies. We’ve had a complaint they are causing offence’. I couldn’t believe it, ” Mr Reynolds said.

The officer then clambered into the window display, among the fire grates and bird feeders, and seized the dolls...............

The barbershop I patronize is owned be regular apolitical types and "my" barber is a proud grassroots rebel redneck type who says out loudwhateverhe thinks while working. No store would tolerate his uncensored socio-political opinions except for the fact that he's the only one in town that can cut hair....... so lots of the time customers are waiting around for their turn in his chair while the other barbers are standing idly by theirs.

For every misstep and offense committed against Africans, the author gloriously lists how there was an African culture/ruler who exceeded the wealth/power/etc of the "bad" European. In essense, the very thing it criticized in others, it heaped praise upon Africans who did the same.

Criticizing greed of Americans/Europeans, it celebrates the unfathomable wealth of African rulers...

Cargo cults are not an urban legend and not extinct, as some may think -- Smithsonianwrotethem up in its February issue. This came to my attention via Rebel Underground newsletter because among the objects venerated by the tribe in question is a Confederate flag on a bamboo pole. This is February 15, John Frum Day, on the remote island of Tanna in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu. On this holiest of days, devotees have descended on the village of Lamakara from all over the island to honor a ghostly American messiah, John Frum. “John promised he’ll bring planeloads and shiploads of cargo to us from America if we pray to him,” a village elder tells me as he salutes the Stars and Stripes. “Radios, TVs, trucks, boats, watches, iceboxes, medicine, Coca-Cola and many other wonderful things.”

The island’s John Frum movement is a classic example of what anthropologists have called a “cargo cult”—many of which sprang up in villages in the South Pacific during World War II, when hundreds of thousands of American troops poured into the islands from the skies and seas. As anthropologist Kirk Huffman, who spent 17 years in Vanuatu, explains: “You get cargo cults when the outside world, with all its material wealth, suddenly descends on remote, indigenous tribes.” The locals don’t know where the foreigners’ endless supplies come from and so suspect they were summoned by magic, sent from the spirit world. To entice the Americans back after the war, islanders throughout the region constructed piers and carved airstrips from their fields. They prayed for ships and planes to once again come out of nowhere, bearing all kinds of treasures: jeeps and washing machines, radios and motorcycles, canned meat and candy..........

Racial Remarks Turn NJ Secretary of State's Appearance into Embassy of Ill Will

(AgapePress) - A controversial speech by New Jersey Secretary of State Regena Thomas has created a charged atmosphere of racial tension at a South Jersey Catholic school.

Thomas recently visited Pope Paul VI High School in Haddon Township to give a speech on the Department of State's "V-Free Program," a youth initiative designed to combat violence, vandalism and victimization by encouraging student relationships and leadership. However, Thomas reportedly launched into a verbal tirade against the students, lambasting one for not knowing his black history facts, while calling others "ignorant white folk" and insinuating that they were racists.

Donna Harris, an alumna of Pope Paul VI, is a math teacher and girls varsity basketball coach at the school. She believes the students were startled not only by Thomas' topic but by her confrontational manner, and many in the audience became offended when the state official started yelling loudly into a microphone at them.

After the incident, Harris says she allowed the students she teaches "to vent whatever they had to say" and she feels most of their remarks "were very valid" responses to the way the students felt they had been treated by Thomas. "Most of them felt insulted and intimidated in some respects," the math teacher says, "and it was because of the way she was speaking to them."

Up until what she describes as the "inflammatory and accusatory" speech by Thomas, Harris says she was not aware of any problems with race relations on the school campus. But the appearance by the New Jersey secretary of state left many students and faculty angry and upset. According to local media, some students walked out of the speech in protest, and several parents called the school afterward to complain about having their children subjected to the speaker's harshly critical rant........................

Howard Beach is back in the news and this time it's a perfect image of the multi-layered diversity-mania that trips over itselftrying to out-PC itself.

In the beginning was the word "******" -- they're too priggish to say it, but I'm not. Everything was fine.....and along came liberals who stirred up a race war over it.

Blacks kept using it as a term of endearment among themselves, whites began losing big over its liberally-imagined misuse -- a massive over-reaction to a linguistic quirk ages old.

Then along came Gen-X which, black and white, who revived it as innocent, campy slang. And now, from what you're about to read, there's a whole new industry in which lawyers hoodoo the public over every shade ofthe word'smeaning, every Freudo-Jungian twitch of its users' grey matter.

In short, for young people the word is back where it started -- but liberals will continue on the trajectory of righteous hysteria they're on, thank you very much.Once liberals dig a hole they just keep digging deeper and pulling as many other people in as they can -- at gunpoint, despite their well-known righteous hysteria about guns. The epithet — or "the N-word," as the lawyer representing the defendant, Nicholas Minucci, repeatedly described it in court — may well be the crux of this racially charged and high-profile case.

Prosecutors in the trial, in State Supreme Court in Queens, will try to establish that Mr. Minucci, who is white, uttered the word as he chased down and beat a 22-year-old black man, Glenn Moore, with a baseball bat on June 29, fracturing Mr. Moore's skull. Mr. Minucci is charged with assault as a hate crime and 18 other counts and faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted on all of them.

Mr. Minucci told police investigators in a videotaped interrogation after the incident that he said, "What up?" — followed by the epithet — in addressing Mr. Moore as he approached him, and that Mr. Moore responded by saying, "What up?"

Mr. Minucci has maintained that his subsequent actions were self-defense against a robbery attempt.

If Mr. Minucci is convicted in the attack, but the jury decides it was not motivated by racial hatred, then he will face a lower sentence.

Prosecutors hope to prove the attack was motivated by such a bias. The defense, meanwhile, is expected to suggest that a young man growing up in a mixed neighborhood in New York City uses "the N word" as a matter of course and that the word no longer carries the racially charged overtones it has historically.

Mr. Minucci's friends and family have said that the word is uttered today more in collegiality than hatred, and that its proliferation in rap music and everyday conversation among young people of various races and ethnicities has changed its meaning and impact......................

People argue that the music someone listens to says a lot about who he is, but that discussion rarely concludes in descriptions like "cracker" and "racist."

Last week a two-year-old argument over the preferences of Stephin Merritt, a New York rock musician and songwriter, for music by white artists mushroomed into a tempest in a digital teapot. What in times past would have been a whisper, a cut of the rhetorical butter knife, is now making a noise for anybody who tunes in.

The Web is the great enabler when it comes to turning what once were parlor debates into clamorous viral feuds. This one has all the pretension of academic politics but even lower stakes.

In 2004 Mr. Merritt, writing in The New York Times, chose seven records for a feature called Playlist. None of the records he chose were by black artists, prompting Sasha Frere-Jones, a music critic at The New Yorker, to conclude at the time on his personal blog that Mr. Merritt had a bias against black music, calling him " 'Southern Strategy' Merritt." A series of posts ensued from Mr. Frere-Jones suggesting that a list of the best songs of the past century that Mr. Merritt made while he was a critic at Time Out New York underrepresented black artists.

Mr. Frere-Jones's indictment might have been lost to the electronic mist, but then late last month Mr. Merritt, an indie demigod for his twee, compelling work with the band Magnetic Fields, served on a panel at the Experience Music Project's annual Pop Conference in Seattle and endorsed the catchiness of "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah," the famous feel-good tune heard in Disney's "Song of the South," a 1946 film many consider racist. Reacting to his statement that it was "a great song," Jessica Hopper, a contributor to The Chicago Reader, an alternative weekly, criticized Mr. Merritt on her Web site for his "obsession with a racist cartoon." That Mr. Merritt said the movie was terrible was drowned out in kerfuffle. (Ms. Hopper has since retracted that criticism but maintains that Mr. Merritt is a racist judging from his musical and rhetorical choices.)

The renewed argument caught the attention of John Cook, a contributor to the online magazine Slate, who wrote an article last week titled "Is Stephin Merritt a Racist Because He Doesn't Like Hip-Hop?" He said Ms. Hopper had misrepresented Mr. Merritt's comments and argued that Mr. Frere-Jones's attacks on Mr. Merritt were based on "the dangerous and stupid notion that one's taste in music can be interrogated for signs of racist intent the same way a university's admissions process can: If the number of black artists in your iPod falls too far below 12.5 percent of the total, then you are violating someone's civil rights."

Race in pop music has been a point of contention since before Elvis Presley (http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/p/elvis_presley/index.html?inline=nyt-per) first picked up a guitar, but artists are not usually clobbered for failing to integrate the legacy of black music into their playlists. Bands ranging from the Rolling Stones to the White Stripes have been accused of a kind of reverse minstrelsy, exploiting black sounds to their own ends, but Mr. Merritt is being accused of doing the opposite.

Mr. Merritt, who would not agree to be interviewed, is certainly no fan of modern hip-hop. In an interview in the online magazine Salon in 2004 he said that much of contemporary rap engages in "more vicious caricatures of African-Americans than they had in the 19th century." He singled out OutKast, a critically adored African-American duo.

Mr. Frere-Jones has said Mr. Merritt's disrespect for OutKast specifically and rap in general was intended to provoke. He has apologized, after a fashion, for calling Mr. Merritt a "rockist cracker" but sticks to his core argument.

"Is it possible to look at your own preferences and find something that your consciousness was not letting you in on?" he wrote last week in response to Mr. Cook's article.

Mr. Frere-Jones also pointed out that in citing his white musical sources, Mr. Merritt, interviewed in Mojo magazine 10 years ago, was not above racial provocation: "I think my records could be listened to by the Ku Klux Klan!"

In an interview on Monday, Mr. Frere-Jones emphasized that his personal blog was just that, since it is neither linked to nor edited by The New Yorker, and that the "cracker" crack was just that.

"Calling him that was a dumb thing to do," he said. "It is a little bit of inside baseball, a nerdy music fight. I was just sort of rising to the bait."

"It was probably not the most effective way to attack those issues," Mr. Frere-Jones said. "It does get the idea up in the air and the discussion going. If I have to take some heat for it, so be it. If I had to it to do over again, I would not have been so hot-headed and taken some words out of it, but that is the nature of blogging."

Some bystanders could not help but be amused by all of the dancing on the head of a guitar pick in spite of the serious accusation at the core of the argument.

"It's been a lot of fun to follow," said Mike Doughty, a blogger and a singer-songwriter who formerly led the band Soul Coughing. "Stephin is this depressed, angsty guy who is trying to displace his feelings by saying provocative things. But he has a point. You can't say that just because you don't like the artists who played Lilith Fair, you hate women."

Then there's the fact that Mr. Merritt is openly gay. Trying to defend him against the charges of incipient crackerism, Mr. Cook observed: "Merritt is diminutive, gay and painfully intellectual. Are Americans Suffering Diversity Fatigue?
People are willing to be tolerant, but only to a certain point. And from California to the Midwest and Florida, signs of exclusionary thinking are popping up all over.

Has it become okay to exclude again?

Perhaps one of the most treasured of American rights is the freedom of association. This is the right to hang out with whomever we want, wherever we want. It's a complicated right, because when we hang out with "people like us," inevitably someone gets kept out. Where and how to draw the line is a question we all seem to be struggling with right now.

Black Jack, Mo., made national headlines late last month when it drew its firm line. An unmarried couple with three children tried to move into the house they had just bought. The house is zoned for single family residences—and the city decided this family does not fit their legal definition of family. The couple pleaded with the city council to change the law. The city said no, and intends to evict. When this news broke, many assumed Black Jack must be one of those white, religious conservative towns in the Bible Belt. But Black Jack turned out to be a suburb of St. Louis, and it’s 70% African American. Their enforcement of the zoning doesn't seem to be motivated by race or religion—just a genuine desire to preserve the pro-family environment.

My friends in liberal Manhattan were appalled. "It could never happen here," they insisted. But it is happening there—at the corner of 70th and Broadway. The Sherman Square condominium tower rejected the application of an unmarried couple. (No, the couple is not gay.) The co-op says it isn't a moral judgment. It feels it shouldn’t be forced into a legal contract with two people who are not even willing to be legally bound to each other. Isn't that reasonable?

Down in central Florida, developers have broken ground on a new township called Ave Maria, which they hope will be populated with conservative Catholics. The town will surround a colossal church, shaped like a pontiff's hat, with a 65-foot crucifix at the front door. They're also moving a university from Michigan to Florida, so the students and faculty can seed the town. If you're a parent who does not want your child to attend the Catholic elementary school, you will have to put your child on a school bus to be educated elsewhere in the county—Ave Maria plans no public schools. The planners know darn well they can't exclude non-Catholics from buying one of the 11,000 planned homes. But they won't need to.

These anecdotes make us liberals uncomfortable, but isn't congregating with like-minded people a natural impulse? Lawyers like to drink at lawyer bars, and moms have their mommy groups. Cubs fans don't go to White Sox games, and while Girl Scout troops don't exclude lesbians, they do exclude boys.

Nor should we assume this urge to withdraw is only a conservative tactic. In the state of Nebraska, the only black member of the state legislature is Ernie Chambers. Ernie is so liberal that a colleague in the legislature said, “Ernie sees racism when he pours his breakfast cereal.” But Ernie Chambers recently pushed through a new bill that carves Omaha’s school district into three—a black district, a white district, and a Hispanic district. He thinks this will protect black schools from being cheated of their fair share of bond proceeds. He also says black families should decide what black children are being taught. They think they’ll be better off taking care their own.

Meanwhile, out in Northern California there's a city called Hercules which decided it hates Wal-Mart. Hercules wants to build a cozy tree-lined street of small shops where an old dynamite plant used to be. They don't mind chains, like Starbucks and The Gap. They just don't want a Wal-Mart, which they believe will crush the small stores like sugar ants. Hercules has found no legal means of forbidding Wal-Mart from building on the vacant lot it owns, so this week the city voted to use eminent domain and take the $15 million lot from Wal-Mart. So far that appears legal. Across the Bay in San Francisco, people cheered.

Even in socialist France, they now want immigrants to swear to their love of French culture. We can't do that here, because we protect free speech, so we're just making English our "official," language, and leaving the rest implied.

People are willing to be tolerant, but past a certain point it feels like being ordered to eat the peas. So at West Side High School in Gary, Ind., school officials let a transgendered teen named Kevin Logan come to school in drag every day. He's a popular boy who performs with the girls on drill team. But last weekend, when Kevin showed up at the prom in a slinky fuschia dress, he was barred from entry by the principal. They already had a rule that boys can't wear dresses to the prom. Kevin's classmates were angry. But much of the country is siding with the principal. I disagree here. If a boy has already spent $200 on a manicure and pedicure, he should be allowed to showcase his glamorous toes.....................

A section that goes into a basketball coach who would put less talent blacks into the game because the coach was afraid of the blacks that did later attack an older son of the family that complained at their house. (Did the blacks have to take direct action to defend the myth of black athletic superiority or were they just putting their people first or both?) Tales of students who became physically ill duty to the harassment or grades fell from “A’s” to “C’s.” Even reports of teachers getting onto the students who were being harassed by the blacks. One can clearly see why diversity makes people unhappy!

Here's a story that's a grand slam on the blessings of diversity. Was Levittown a Jew's-eye-view of the ideal anthill in which to keep whitey as he returned from World War II fresh from bombardment with shells, globalistpropaganda and Holocaustianity? After Gang Threat, It's Cap, Gown and Lockdown

Yet when the ceremonies began Friday afternoon, the class of '06 was missing its president, Tyrone Lewis, whom the police had banned from the ceremony because they believed that he, and his family, were in danger from the Bloods. Mr. Lewis's sister had agreed to testify against gang members in a New Jersey murder trial, and Mr. Lewis was recently shot at by three men who the police said they believed belonged to the gang. Also absent from the ceremony was Ahman Fralin, 18, a senior who has been hospitalized, and paralyzed from the neck down since April, when he was shot in the spine as he sat beside Mr. Lewis.

Despite protests from Mr. Lewis's mother, he delivered his speech from a secret spot as the crowd watched on a large television screen.

After being welcomed with raucous applause by the crowd watching on the screen in the stadium, Mr. Lewis, 18, made only passing reference to the circumstances that made him an exile at his own graduation. He asked the crowd to pray for Mr. Fralin and suggested that the police "lockdown" surrounding the graduation ceremony should come as little surprise in an age when police dogs search school lockers for drugs and students have their knapsacks checked for guns each morning.

"We've had some crazy days, but we've also had inspiring days as well," he said.

Simple American rites of passage were not supposed to be this jarring in Levittown, a community that was designed in the early 1950's as an affordable refuge for returning World War II veterans eager to seek serenity in the suburbs.

Joe Lieberman has been given the privilege of sitting as a US Senator for 18 years. He's even been given the extraordinary privilege of being nominated for The Democratic Party's choice for Vice President. Today, and every day until it is done, we must demand that our leadership stand as one and repudiate this man who would so dishonor our Party and our system of candidate choice that has worked for the many decades. Joe Lieberman is being challenged at a primary by a previously unknown opponent. If he loses he should be a man and support the winner on to victory in the General Election. And then quietly walk off stage. He does not deserve our respect, in any form, if he does not.

And who must we hammer home this message to: Chuck Schumer, Chairman of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, Barack Obama and every other Democratic Senator [if you have Democratic senators in your state] whose heart must be torn tonight to see this outright betrayal of our Party and its ideals.

Schreiber, 22, faces charges of criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and public intoxication, police said. He also might be ordered to pay for damage to 14 headstones, Police Chief Nicholas Bravos said. Estimated damage totaled about $8,400, Bravos said.
Schreiber told police he and a companion had been drinking before going to the cemetery.
He estimated he had been trapped under the headstone for more than three hours before police arrived, Bravos said. His condition was not immediately available Tuesday morning, a nursing supervisor at Methodist Hospitals said.

Ha, ha, I've just found the goods on the 1990s scheme to force diversity on Dubuque, Iowa, dubbed the "Constructive Integration Plan". Iowa was obviously a white wonderland till then, and the plan seems to have beena spectacular failure because WIki says it was still (like Iowa) about 96% white when all was said and done.

Washington (CNSNews.com) -- Three Christian protestors were removed from the U.S. Senate chamber's observation gallery Thursday when they disrupted the morning prayer -- being delivered for the first time
in history by a Hindu chaplain.

The three unidentified protestors began praying loudly when Rajan Zed, a Hindu chaplain from Nevada,
started praying. The demonstrators prayed for forgiveness from Jesus Christ for "betraying" the
Christian tradition.

Senate security officers quickly removed the demonstrators, and Zed continued with his prayer for peace.
"May our study be enlightening," he said, noting that "by devotion to selfless work we gain the supreme
goal of life."

Zed addressed his prayer to "the supreme one" and requested that "he stimulate and illuminate our minds."

"May yours spirits be as one," Zed said. "Peace, peace, peace be unto all." He added a prayer of comfort
for the family of Lady Bird Johnson, the former First Lady who died Wednesday at 94.

Zed addressed a mainly empty Senate chamber. Among other staff, only Senate Majority Leader
Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) were present for the opening invocation and
Pledge of Allegiance. Reid's office sponsored Zed's request to serve as a guest chaplain. Inhofe was
there to deliver a speech moments later on the Fairness Doctrine.

After the prayer, Reid took to the floor to thank Zed for opening the Senate. He spoke of a statue of
Gandhi he keeps in his office, and encouraged his colleagues to "think of Gandhi."

first Hindu chaplain to deliver the opening prayer on the Senate floor. The Senate Chaplain,

While he appears to be the first Hindu to open the Senate, Zed is not the first outside the
Judeo-Christian tradition. A Muslim prayer was delivered in 1993.

It seemed innocuous enough at first. Watertown, a suburb of Boston, sported a sign on the Town Hall, proclaiming the town a participant in an anti-bigotry program "No Place for Hate." But one of the good citizens of Watertown with libertarian inclinations objected that the sign seemed like some kind of PC thought control. His objections set in motion investigations by the town mothers and fathers into the program. Lo and behold, it was sponsored by Abe Foman's Jewish Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

In itself this sponsorship might not be a problem, unless you are a Muslim, an Arab or a Palestinian and know full well the ADL's positions on bigotry. But there are over 8000 Armenian-Americans in Watertown, and the ADL has long denied that the Turkish massacre of 1.5 million Armenians from 1915 to 1923 amounted to genocide. Turkey is of course an ally and arms purchaser of Israel's, but the denial antedates this alliance. A good friend of mine, an Israeli expatriate, tells me that when he went to school in Israel, mention of the Armenian genocide was verboten so as not to detract from the "uniqueness" of the Jewish genocide under the Nazis and to maintain a "monopoly on suffering," as he puts it. Shoah business does not like the competition.

The whole matter in Watertown was given added urgency by a resolution now pending in Congress calling on Turkey to recognize the Armenian genocide. This resolution is supported by the Armenian community and opposed by the national ADL.

Anger began to mount in Watertown and the citizens called on the city mothers and fathers to withdraw from the ADL-sponsored program. (ADL Dollars and awards flow to participating towns.) The Watertown Town Council called a meeting which was packed with a lot of angry Armenians. Regional ADL director Andrew Tarsey came to the meeting to defend the ADL genocide denial, (as had the ADL's national director, Abe Foxman, in an interview with the Boston Globe,) and to call on the town to stick with the "No Place for Hate" program. Tarsey was booed out of the hall with hisses and catcalls. At that the town mothers and fathers voted unanimously to quit the program, and at the cost of overtime for two city workers the sign was gone before dawn.........

mohels (the word is usually pronounced MOY-il) to police themselves
could be ineffective, he warned. As many as 70 percent of all adults
have herpes simplex 1, and it is difficult to detect periods when the
virus is contagious.</span>It is unclear how the Hasidic community will react to the guidelines.</span>Rabbi
David Niederman of the United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg, a
Brooklyn neighborhood with a large number of ultra-Orthodox Jews, has
argued for no government action, saying there is too little medical
evidence to justify a public warning about a ritual performed safely
thousands of times a year.</span>“Parents have been alarmed unnecessarily,” he said, adding that he has received calls from worried mothers.</span>“We
are not fanatics,” Niederman said. “If there is evidence that this
practice is not safe, we will not do it. We will be the first ones to
act. That is embodied in the same Torah that tells us to make a bris

J. David Bleich, a professor of both Jewish and secular law at Yeshiva
University, said the debate over metzitzah b’peh began in Europe during
the mid-19th century, when suspicion arose that it was spreading
tuberculosis. Ever since, there has been disagreement over whether the
practice was required under Jewish law or simply recommended for
medical reasons.</span>A
majority of Reform and modern Orthodox mohels decided it was
recommended, and now clean a circumcision wound with sterile gauze, a
sponge or a glass tube.</span>But
a century and a half of debate has not resolved the argument, and
Bleich suggested that actions by health authorities would not settle

changes are going to come are not going to come because of government
pressure,” he said. “If you want to change the way rabbis are doing

An article entitled "Firehouse Subs chain mocks heroic firemen"

Firehouse Subs is a chain of sandwich restaurants. They claim they were founded by real firemen. From time to time, they issue special "hero cups" for their soft drinks to honor fire fighters who have displayed "incredible acts of bravery" to save others. In the current campaign, they’re honoring five alleged "heroes." No, they’re honoring four real heroes, and one affirmative action fraud who was only chosen because she’s not a white man.

Ryan Cooper is the first hero – when a plane crashed into a house in his Florida neighborhood, engulfing it in flames, he rushed in without any protective gear and saved a father and son.

Next is Rod Oates of Bluffton, South Carolina. He was off duty, driving home from a meeting, when he came upon a head on collision. The engine was smoking, and three people were trapped inside. He and another passerby struggled valiantly to open the door, and were finally able to pull the three victims to safety moments before the car burst into flames.

Then come Jeff Werthmuller and Captain Mike Magee of Ocala, FL. They, too, displayed incredible bravery. They were off duty and driving in a terrible storm, when an SUV went off the road, flipped over, and landed upside down in a water filled ditch. The SUV was rapidly taking on water, and there were a woman and a baby trapped inside. They dug through the mud with their bare hands to pull the mom and baby to safety, in a very dangerous situation, as other cars continued to slide off the road right around them.

No doubt about it. These four white men are exactly the kind of men people have in mind when they talk about heroes.

Then there’s Angelica Stroud, a black woman. And what "act of incredible bravery" did she perform? Her heroic act was "spearheading a community-based program to strengthen fire safety education for seniors."

California has already scraped “gifted and talented” programs because too few blacks and central American immigrants qualify.

In the former, substantial portions of certain “diverse” racial and ethnic groups teach their children contempt for the law, for the persons and property of members of “non-diverse” groups, and for all self-restraint, and to violently resist all lawful authority. Not only do parents and legal guardians teach children this lesson, but other adults with authority over children—teachers, social workers, ministers, even rogue counter-policemen hired under affirmative action—do likewise, as do the media. And then, when the predictable bloodshed occurs, those who fomented it are “shocked” and “outraged,” and depict the malefactors variously as “victims”
and “heroes,” and the real heroes as “murderers.”

The social disorder characteristic of multiculturalism is not anarchy, because under multiculturalism “non-diverse” groups are obliged to exercise the very virtues that “diverse” groups are taught to violate, while the ever expanding government treats the self-governing groups, whose assets it increasingly confiscates, like criminals. The inverted moral order of multiculturalism is thus a case of what the late Sam Francis called “anarcho-tyranny.”

This is what happens when you appoint blacks to top positions in law enforcement. Not long ago in Dallas the son of the black police chief was killed after he murdered a cop. The cop killer’s funeral was given a police escort “out of respect for the chief.”

Now, Goliath Davis III, a senior administrator for economic development in St. Petersburg has made it clear that what happened in Dallas isn’t a fluke. Davis skipped the funeral for a police officer who was recently murdered in St. Pete, but attended the funeral of the black thug who killed him. And get this–Goliath Davis III is the former police chief of St. Petersburg.

Get used to it, conservatives. You may not like the idea of cop killers being given police escorts for their funeral, or former police chiefs skipping the funeral of a murdered cop, but attending the funeral of the thug who killed him, but that’s what you get when you celebrate Diversity.

I have a confession to make. I have this really terrible habit, and I feel guilty as all get out about it. See, whenever I read a headline about a women’s college basketball game at a Christian university having to be suspended due to a brawl, I tend to jump to conclusions and assume it’s probably Diversity-related. I know, I know…I shouldn’t be that way. And I’m working on it. Honest!

What makes it hard, though, is that I’m usually right, and this time was no exception. Bethune Cookman University is a historically black, faith based university in Daytona Beach, Florida. And the other day a women’s basketball game had to be suspended due to a huge brawl breaking out during the game.

An article entitled "Providing farm jobs for blacks would be “racist!” screams press."

A Republican candidate is under fire by the media, and wimps in his own party, for suggesting a solution to end high unemployment for black men.

The media constantly screams about black unemployment and then screams “racist” at anyone who suggests putting them to work.

Two big problem with this plan one blacks don't want to work and two no one wants blacks near them or their business for blacks don't produce they destroy. To get blacks to do any work one needs an overseer armed with a whip and a gun and even then it wouldn't be much! If we face facts hard labor in this country is still done by Whites and will continue to be. Nonwhites especially today Mestizos and Latin American Indians are trendy to have work for the in crowd, but when one needs the work done right, Whites are needed.

If has been reported that by 1860, many blacks slaves were house slaves and other non-field slaves while common Whites did the hard labor. This is happening again as Whites will be used to do the hard labor as more and more nonwhite "Hispanics" and other nonwhites refuse to do any hard work as it is beneath them.

The whole so-called "Civil Rights" movement was about restoring the old order where a small number of White and Jewish "elite" had nonwhite slaves and servants who did very little real work while Whites did the hard labor and produced the wealth that supported the whole system.

Nonwhites appear to be viewed as a symbol of prosperity because in order to have them someone (today the White taxpayers) has to spend a lot of money taking care of them like exotic pets. The current "elite" have destroyed the country's ability to produce wealth and brought in too many nonwhites too support. The combination is a disaster waiting to happen.
