Looking at that picture of Charles Krauthammer, I was reminded of an old friend who had once lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., and who described a certain physical type; no matter where you encountered it–New York City, Cairo Egypt, Moscow Russia, Tokyo Japan, etc.–you would immediately say to yourself, "that’s a Brownsville Jew!"


Personally, never having been in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, I was uncertain as to the exact physical type he meant until now.
