Notice how the corporate media's coverage of the Iraq occupation becomes extremely positive, almost blissful, each time Iraq is about to have an election? So-called "democracy" is one thing that the ruling class marches in lockstep on. It doesn't matter that Iraq's government is a puppet government, just as it doesn't matter that elections in the U.S. are meaningless thanks to an institutionalized two-party monopoly that brooks no genuine opposition. All that counts is that every country must be a Washington-approved "democracy," meaning a system of control that gives the appearance of choice where there is none.
I imagine we'll be seeing lots of purple-inked fingers again as the Iraqis vote. The system despises Arabs, but loves them for a day any time they vote.

Don, sometimes you make it sound like the systemites have reduced the 'democratic process' to a total charade that does nothing but enhance the power structure and give the sheeple a sense of false security and freedom! smileys/smiley2.gif

Can you think of a better definition?

It looks like Bob Grant will be quitting talk radio. Although, he was completely indebted to the Zionist bigshots, he did allow people to get on and state their case against the Jewish State.
He's a historian, no matter if we agree with his reading of history (I don't, especially about Israel) or not. The rest of the talk radio hosts are just shills, completely unable to talk knowledgably about different subject matter.
At least Grant spoke correctly (for the most part) about the black situation in this country and also about the illegal aliens.

It is interesting how a democracy always appears to end up being a
plutocracy and a Kleptocracy. We know that the ancient Greeks
believed that a democracy was what a Republic disintegrated into.

And a democracy into tyranny--see Book VIII of Plato's "Republic."
"Socrates: I was going to observe, that the insatiable desire of this and the neglect of other things introduces the change in democracy, which occasions a demand for tyranny...when a democracy which is thirsting for freedom has evil cup-bearers presiding over the feast, and has drunk too deeply of the strong wine of freedom, then, unless her rulers are very amenable andgive a plentiful draught, she calls them to account and punishes them, and says that they are cursed oligarchs.." et seq.

This JUST in. I defy y'all to find any purer, starker piece of obvious pseudo-patriotic up-chuck -- </span>any bromide so totally void of honesty dressed in such gaudy, flimsy</span> disguises of virtue and valor. https://anu.org/forum/smileys/smiley36.gifhttps://anu.org/forum/smileys/smiley4.gifhttps://anu.org/forum/smileys/smiley32.gifhttps://anu.org/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif
Admit
