They cry of persecution and repression, but everywhere they go they steal other people's culture and freedom. This from an exchange between Elijah Coleman and Sally Raburn. She's merely relating what's happened, not nailing the PPFPOs per se. Sally's not a naughty anti-Zionist like me. Lijah has usefully chronicled AIPAC's dominance over Georgia politics in recent times -- yes, American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful political looby in the US andthe unregistered agent of a foreign government.

I know that everything you have tried to tell this man is the truth. Almost every true Southerner that I know, talk to, or hear from over the internet, has a problem with the attitude of the people from the north toward the people of the south. It is everywhere you go. Living down here in Florida, where so many of them have transplanted to, we see it first hand. It is so bad, that it has become a joke. They are loud, rude and disrespectful. I have met one or two exceptions, but the majority are just as you have said.
I am serving on a committee in the city where I live, for an "All Veteran's Monument" that will be placed at City Hall when it is completed. This monument will be 3-d and will honor 'all veterans of all wars.' There is this one man, (don't know how he got on the committee), that is from the north. He has made some nasty remarks trying to keep the Confederate soldier off the monument, saying we were traitors, etc. I am there to make sure our soldiers are remembered. However, there is a lovely black lady, (she is the only black person on the committee and she is a friend of mine); she hasn't said one word against the Confederate soldier being on this monument. I am not sure of when this man and his wife moved here, but I told my chapter's UDC president about him, and she said his wife joined the Woman's Club, and when they opened the meeting in prayer that ended in "Jesus name.", she went to the club president and demanded that they stop praying that way, because she is Jewish, and it offended her. The president of the Women's club, took the matter to the club for a vote, they voted to keep the prayer with Jesus' name, so this woman quit the club. (goodbye and good riddance).
I am sick and tired of people saying, "the war is over, you lost, get over it." My reply to them is: "when people learn the truth, when my ancestor's name are no longer being smeared in the dirt, when the monuments and flags of the Confederacy are treated with the honor and respect they deserve, then the war will be over."
Lijah, thank you for telling this person like it is. We all know he will never accept the truth; most of them won't. They like their feelings of superiority. My mother used to tell me, that "there are some people that have to put other people down in order to feel better about themselves."
