Can someone explain to me why President Bush and his wife are such good friends with the Saudi royal couple and yet act in a manner that furthers Israeli interests at the expense of Arab interests? It seems that it would be impossible for an Arab Prince to be good friends with a representative of a country that serves jewish interests. What do they talk about over dinner? It just doesn't make sense.

The Bush family and the U.S. oil industry have had a close relationship with the Saudi government for many years, also with the governments of various other Arab oil producing countries. That's the other half of the corporate/Zionist alliance that holds power in Washington.

The tradeoff for the Saudi princesand other pro-Washington Arabs has been reaping tremendous amounts of Western cash for their oil along with a modern, Western-built infrastructure that enables them to live likethe super-rich of America while at the same time not opposing Washington's support of Israel other than through meaningless rhetorical flourishes. The result is that the Saudi government is tied to the U.S. for its survival as it isdisliked by a large majority of the Saudi people.
