If we start examining the signs preceding the
coming of Jesus, then the words spoken by Jesus himself, in which he referred
to the days of Noah and Lot concerning the generation experiencing the coming
of Jesus, are a good starting point. He stated that the conditions just before
his coming would very much resemble the societies of Noah's and Lot's time, and
that before his coming, people would be as unprepared as then; in other words,
history would repeat itself in a way.</span>

I believe your assessment is correct, PetriFB. I'm pretty sure we approach Christian theology from a different perspective, but we know that the scriptures were preserved for us for the purpose of continued learning &amp; understanding. The Biblical writers, using the terminology of their era, are reporting the cycles of history . We are repeating history. The stage of decadence in America is obvious to the spiritually awakened. I don't mean the mumbo-jumbo the religious spiritualists advocate,but that life force that God has sent to guide the awakened faithful. The conquered think they are conquerors, slaves think they are free, etc. I wake up some days &amp; wonder " how much longer can this system last ? " When family members gather &amp; the perceptions of reality are alien between the awakened &amp; the conformist that wall of separation becomes much more visible. God chooses whom He will &amp; we should be grateful &amp; honored even though sad for our lost kinsmin. I pray for the destruction of this anti-Christ system &amp; for the re-birth of God's Kingdom.
