Got this from another forum, though I'm sure it is a reliable source.
The newly assigned US-ambassador is going to be a certain Roland Arnell, who became rich with his company Ameriquest by ripping off people (primarily) with mortgages. Despite the fact he has little to no political experience, whatsoever, and that he's been hardly interviewed throughout his life, he's an important financier for the GOP (Republican Party) and... the Simon Wiesenthal Institute (http://www.wiesenthal.com/site/pp.asp?c=fwLYKnN8LzH&b=242023) His assignment (?) has been personally approved by president George W. Bush himself, according to what they told on the radio.
