Yet another young buck from GOP-RNC Headquarters downtown phoned me, during dinner of course, to bug me for a donation. Didn't have a whole lot of time, but I got the young fellow quickly back on his heels.
"Do you know what a Neo-con is?"
"No. What's a Neo-con?"
"It's a Neo-conservative. Like your president. Because of Neo-cons I refuse to give a plug nickel to the GOP."
"I don't understand."
"Ask your supervisor about Neo-cons. Then call me back and we will talk about who gives money to the GOP."
Intuitively I didn't think I could get the little bugger to login to anu.org, so didn't try. Perhaps there is a recommended ANU approach toward GOP children who call for contributions. One of my very own relatives worked at RNCfor many years, and left in disgust because they only promote blacks, chicanos, (liberal) women, Creme-packers, perverts, anybody but a straight white male

That reminds me of a form letter which I received from my former Republican "representative" (Melissa Hart) last summer, asking me to support President Bush and "help preserve our conservative values."
Ye gods! To mention "conservative values" in the same breath as "President Bush" sounds like the nearest thing to a contradiction interms. However, I'm sure Mr. Jason Altmire will be no improvement--very likely, worse.

The "elite" equates Conservative with money issues only they do not have any idea or concern about Conservative (Traditional) values.
