Volkogonov's books are Required Reading for all Nationalists and seekers of true Communist history and chronology
Some of the most compelling documentation of Soviet Communism ever written comes from the pen of this fine man. He was a flag officer of the Red Army, battle-hardened combat veteran of the Eastern Front, and a "card-carrying" communist proud and bold … He became disillusioned after decades of supporting the Lenin – Stalin – Brezhnev – Kosygin crowd. His books need little introduction. They are simply called "Lenin" , "Stalin" , and "Trotsky." I’ve read Lenin and Stalin, and found them to be the most spellbinding reads I’ve have endeavored in years. [Maybe I’ll write a formal book review for NT in my next "inspiration cycle"]. Of special note: The Lenin biography frighteningly parallels the life of Bill Clinton – Lenin and Clinton said and thought the same things. It’s spooky! And well worth the read. Highly recommended.
Don W.: Perhaps these can make their way into the Northern Voice collection. ANU Members: I have found these books on public library shelves … although I consider them to be "keepers" where a copy should be procured for one’s personal library.

You never know what you may come across perusing the ANU discussion forum. I am going to order a copy of General Volkogonov's Lenin from Amazon and if it proves to be an interesting and enjoyable read then I will follow up with the Stalin and Trostky biographies.
Volkogonov books seem to have struck a dissonant chord with socialist, feminist, anti-racist...whatever crowd...

Hi GardenState. "Guest" was me. I do endorse reading Volkogonov's books. They're thick, so have plenty of adult beverage nearby during reading. "Lenin" was a wonderful read. Like I said five years ago, when you read "Lenin" you'll think "Bill Clinton."
"Stalin" was a beast to read at about 600 pages, but meticulous. Lots of description of that nice, Christian fellow named Beria. I have a paperback copy of "Trotsky" and hope to finish it ... before the NWO finishes me

Thanks for the book review. I am going to stock up on some red wine as per your advice.

Lenin = Ulyanov
Stalin = Djugashvili
Trotsky = Bronstein
Clinton = Blythe

Nelson you are a hoot!
For sure Trosky was a Jew. Lenin - Ulyanov had a Jewish mommy, and obviously had the backing of German Jewry and the Grand Orient of Freemasonry on the Continent. Stalin was in the Orthodox Seminary. and one reads all manner of conflicting views about his possible Jewishness. After ejecting thousands of Russian Jews towards Palestine, one might detect hostility. But then, senior, heavy-duty Power Jews have always sacrificed fellow Jews whenever expedient.
