Ron Paul supporters: Please remember tomorrow, Dec. 16, the Paul campaign is celebrating the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party with an appeal to "give until it hurts" toward the cause of freedom. www.ronpaul2008.com
Let's face it, different people "hurt" at different levels of financial donations. But if you are a true believer in Ron, simply give whatever you can afford, be it as little as $1 or as much as $2,300. It all adds up to Ron's victorious electionin 2008.
Thank you one and all, and God bless America!

I've never seen anything like this in U.S. politics before. It's very very encouraging.
The next task for Paul and his supporters is to translate his obvious strong support intolegitimate results in the caucuses and primaries. The caucuses and certain primaries such as New Hampshire are the least successible to tinkering and fraud. Pat Buchanan won in New Hampshire in '96, but it appeared he was the victim of vote fraud in South Carolina and other early primary states. Paul has to fight tooth and nail to make a process controlled on behalf of insiders impartial to him, a tall task indeed.

Many opinions likely will differ from mine, but it appears to me that Paul's handlers and campaign managers are pretty savvy people. I like the way Ron gives credit to others, particularly his supporters--most of whom I wouldguess are middleclass citizens with limited assets--while remaining relatively low-key himself.
Don is correct in pointing out that the ability to raise big bucks is only half the battle. That is why it is so important that each of us keep on doing whatever it is we have been doing simply because it is working: contributing, writing, becoming walking billboards, spreading the message by word-of-mouth, etc.
Here in the "united soviet socialist" state of Washington, Ron Paul Meetup groups are growing faster than weeds inspringtime. Because most meetingsoccur during evenings, and because I don'trelish drivingin thedark, I have yet to attend my first meeting. But I am feeding creative ideas and wordsof encouragement to everyone with whom I am in contact. The enthusiasm at all levels is absolutely amazing. This is an historic first.
Let's reflect on the past for just a moment. Do any of you recall how, just a few months ago, many active members of this forum were saying, "Ron Paul is the only honest candidate in the running, but he doesn't stand a chance of winning," or wordsto that effect? Then some of usstarted delivering pep talks, and soon (thank you realgeorge) others began to hear our messages of optimism, and voila!
There's an ancient saying that "Winners never quit, andquitters never win." We the people who are prepared to carry Ron Paul to ultimate victory are living proof of that sage wisdom.Edited by: Wicked Warren

I am convinced that this country is DONE if Ron Paul does not become President. I gave twice on December 16th and I will give again every chance that I get....up to the maximum.
The man is my HERO and I haven't had one of those in many years. Well, actually there is another man who I consider to be a hero but he is unlawfully imprisoned in Germany.
Over all the years of my life I would wonder from time to time why I didn't HAVE a hero....someone I could completely respect and admire and fight for. Then I began to educate myself with some real history and learned why that was.
I am convinced that Ron Paul represents our last hope in getting our country back to a semblance of what it was.
