Here's a huge little subject -- another beef I've got to get off my chest, and I honestly hope it doesn't offend anybody: people think they absolutely have to have loud noise, mostly acid rock, and use it to lend pathetically specious validity to things. Thus the phrase that something or somebody "rocks" as the ultimate slangy compliment.
I'm afraid I caused needless offense and hurt in some of my beefings about cultural values in my last incarnation here and really don't want to do it again. If I do, will somebody please let me know.
Somebody just sent me this link
Ron Paul: What If...?</span>
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewr...es/025610.html
..........which is the first and possibly only exposure I'll probably have to this most concentratedly great short commentary by Ron Paul. What does the digital tinkerer do? As a tribute to Ron he all but drowns him out with the sonic excrescence.
Ron understands that you can't accuse "conservatives" outright of thick-headedness and epochal moral uselessness, so he chooses the occasion and mode of his rant judiciously: a series of questions, not statements, ostensibly (and actually) aimed at Speaker Nancy Pelousy.
When you've got a politician that votes right and can publicly read the riot act to his own putative supporters in any framework, you've got a statesman!
Trying to find my old colyum on the noise fetish to add here.

When a lot of people drive, especially younger ones, they have to have loud music on all the time, literally from the time they start the engine until they turn it off.
Music has always been used to harness and direct emotions. Sports events use music much more than in the past; mostly to encourage group thought and discourage any "stray" timeso thatthe infantile attention span of the audience isn't diverted.
The daily "experience" of the sheeple is more and more scripted to the tiniest details and music is an omnipresent part of it.
-
I agree. And will add, IMO, rock is a diversion and an emotional/psychological addiction. Ask a person who listens to it even casually, to stop listening to it for a week or a couple of days.
They can't.
Rock is a form of demon possession and mind control. What rock is not, is music.
Rock violates the balance of harmony, rythme and melody.
Rock is a Jewish marketing ploy to destroy America. Rock causes the mind to accept morally repugnent ideas and opens the floodgates to accept liberalism and immorality.
It is one of the main tools used to culturally overthrow America during the 60's and 70's.
It keeps babyboomers in perpetual adolescence. They can't grow up because of their addiction to juvenile rock. That is a big part of the mess we are in.
And, IMO, rock is a deterent to some patriots that holds these folks back from being more effective.
What one listens to does matter. Rock is one of those cords that holds us back.
Edit: I attended a well attended Ron Paul ralley in South Carolina. The event made use of rock as a crowd stimulator. I am offended by the use of such Babylonian tactics because it negates the message.
Let Obamanation and the commies use it at their rock concert ralley. But there needs to be a distinct difference between us and them in both message and method.Edited by: UncleDudley

I confess I enjoy a certain amount of rock -- the portion in which the devil uses decent rhythm, harmony and melody to sell his poison.

It seems to me that Homo Americanus, Child of the Postmodern Age (as Tom Sunic calls him) can't stand his own company and needs the atrocious noise which passes for music to avoid an emotional breakdown.
I'm one of those rare people who never use the car radio when driving. Several people have told me that they would go crazy without the car radio, Strange that people seemed to be better adjusted andmore "normal" back in the days when fewer automobiles were equipped with noise boxes.
Society today reminds me of that old tale about the person born with normal vision in a community of congenitally blind people. Or maybe Nietzsche--"all wanteth the same and all are equal, and he who hath other sentiments goeth voluntarily into the madhouse."
-
That's a beaut -- to think Nietszche, er, Nietthzce, I mean Nietzsche was an equality heretic!
I think this is the story you mention --
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Country_of_the_Blind
or a version of it. My brother and I got to know as lads via the now-subversive Scholastic. I think that version left the hero on the mountain crest trying to decide whether to go back to the village or try to go find civilization again.
-
Thanks for refreshing my memory, Nelson. I read that story when I was about 13 or so, but for the life of me, all I could remember was the part dealing with his being considered mentally disturbed when he described what he saw.
Come to think of it, we suffer the same fate in today's brainwashed society.
-
For sure. Wells probably meant it the other way, but we know the real application. Anybody care to comment nationalistically on his other works? I've never read them, but was thinking about the 1960 Time Machine movie -- all those beautiful blonde white folks sleepwalking to their destruction by brutish masters working behind the scenes. Hmmm!
-
One near-constant in this syndrome is that in many cases, the "music" in question has a persistent, ominous, insanely repetitive beat.
I think this is a purely populist presentation, but I'll never know because it shatters my nerves to attempt to listen to it over the ooma-thumpa, ooma-thumpa, ooma-thumpa tattoo underlying the whole thing:

The Indymac Slap in our Face. 02.08.10</span>
Why do I take the time out of a busy day to add this? Because I need to scream. I'm totally wrecked by the saturation this mandatory-rock psychosis has reached. It IS a drug -- a most unhealthy one -- one that (here we go again) never existed before the satanically fateful discovery of electricity</span>.
Take my computer. Take my car. Take my stereo, phone, flashlights, fridge, everything -- take them away from everybody along with every radio and TV on earth and we'll all be on the fast track to a slower, saner, serener existence.
Later. </font>Even the ultimate conspiracy movie 911 Missing Links, reported elsewhere, falls prey to this stupidity. The very first documentary I can remember ever seeing in the digital age to name the gew</span> -- in other words, the film that on that basis alone would win every Academy Award if this were the real world -- and its producers can't restrain themselves from "rocking" you either!
Happens in the otherwise devastating, jam-packed last 5 minutes or so. You literally have to strain to understand the narration.

Now here's a good one -- even when the putative dissidents lunge for yet another denunciation of Hitler on behalf of the poor pitiful gews, they're utterly apotheosizing
the gew impact on society. This presentation features an ugly, Excedrin-headache anti-music motif (and slight variants of it) repeated incessantly for its nearly six-minute duration...... with "19th nervous breakdown" visual/text gimmicks throughout:

Absolutely nothing remains the same for two seconds running -- it's a state of constant CHANGE, don'cha know. Just as this CHANGE mantra has come to dominate every current in our civilization and gets us the worst ever occupant of the White House, it pervades every second of every audio-visual presentation that wants to consider itself truly "with it"!
"Change" is a gew mantra, a pacifier custom-designed by the shape-shifters for little baby goyish moufs with their cute little toofies. Would this footage have been totally unthinkable with little or no music track and a stable camera?
Or is it just another Mossad product scientifically geard toward herding Generation Y into the gulag of Holocaust© credulity?

It's especially fitting that this video has insane, narration-covering "funk" loops playing throughout, pounding your brain to mush, pointlessly distracting the viewer from the subject, which is MK Ultra mind control..... because it shows how thoroughly mind-controlled society is, esp. the Gen-Xers that put up such crap:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i46RI2twVao
CIA Mind Control Operation MK-ULTRA
The mind controllers must jump for joy to see that (#1) youth of today have been saturated with so much jungle rock that they're born with loudspeaker-shaped ears, and (#2) they hate Hitler and the Nazis so much they blame everything bad on them.
Sort of like something that occurred to me the other day: with this "Islamofascism" meme roiling the masses of sheeple today so spectacularly, it so happens that that is the exact, precise diametric opposite of political, logical and semantic reality:
*Communist gews are actually in control but have conditioned the sheeple to act as if they DON'T EXIST.
*They've rewired the sheeple to hate this reverse image of themselves, an ordinarily nonexistent enemy in the form of supposedly "fascist" ARabs and Muslims, i.e. (in the childish cliché-driven mentality at hand) everybody guilty of living in the Mideast while non-gew (ELITMEWNG).
The real curse on the world today = JUDEO-COMMUNISM
What people imagine to be the real curse on the world today = ISLAMOFASCISM
All the gews have to do is coin a term like Islamofascism, noise it up in the media, and dumb Amurricans immediately take it up and add it to every other sentence they put together. The best part of all is that gews are not only the definitive communists of history but the real fascists too, at least in the above sense of "berserk and violently enforced conformity and bellicosity".

Great new techniques are premiered: miking people at half volume, especially if they have a foreign accent (British included) or are a babbling toddler! Then whenever things become almost clear, you simply swell the music loud enough to cover any eventuality:
http://www.brasschecktv.com/videos/n...rsuckers-.html
Was the cameraman wearing the mike on his back for this entire production? Make a note of that stratagem too.
Yet again, a documentary made by a presumptive Gen-Xer that itself serves (for all its fine points) as an example of the overall problem it addresses. The show is about the worship of fame and celebrity, but you can't separate the music fetish from that any more than you can take the white genes out of that other embodiment of the whole mess, Obummer.
I once read a satirical article naming the author's picks of the worst movies of all time. It included Gone With The Wind, partly because of its putatively syrupy music score that never takes a break in four hours of celluloid -- but that music track was nothing compared to the filmmaking we're talking about here. Nothing.
The above-linked documentary bears the imprint of soulless hyper-modernism in another way too -- its title. I'm not highlighting it in my usual fashion because it shows such a complete, Gen-Xer-like lack of taste, breeding, discretion, and modesty in its word choice. I believe it a thinly-veiled mincing of the F-word in a formation which means "obnoxious fool for celebrity cultism and panderer/groveler to the stars, especially as a career". According to a spellbinding/unbearable exposé of rock generation insanity called Gone Crazy and Back Again: the Rise and Fall of the Rolling Stone Generation the term I refer to what staffers of Rolling Stone mag angrily called founding editor Jann Wenner for embodying too well the cultism they themselves were promulgating under his direction in its early years.
Somewhere around minute 10 the film says something unwittingly priceless along these lines. Whoa, the director must read this blog (or my mind) because as I write, the music stops dead in its tracks around minute 16. AH -- its back in 20, just in time to totally obscure a key word in a guy's sentence. (Over-optimism? Obroctonism?) Is it enthusiasm? I guess I'll have to turn my fan off for the duration. and suffering in this heat which is already a problem at 7:56 AM.
WHOA, I give them the Oscar for the year! From 26:00 on they briefly feature an unintelligible Scot with the "sick headache" piano riff keening endlessly over him -- and this is 5 or 10 minutes after the actually did provide subtitles for an off-camera woman!??!?!
............This just in yesterday. Would love to know the decibel level of the concerts in question. Look how deific rock stars are! Who would you say is more infallible, them or the papacy?

WPGC in Morningside, MD (1580 kHz and 95.5 MHz) was the primary source in the Washington DC Metro area of the newest Pop and Rock and Soul music of the 1960s. By far the most successful of such stations among many area competitors, its tunes ruled the airwaves until ... until ... about 1987. About that magic year, the music powers-that-be decided that all guitar-based rock music was far too White. It also required a certain level of motor and musical skill to operate a guitar to successfully produce Rock music. Thus the new "format" at WPGC, which continues to this day -- 100% Negro-friendly HIp-hop and related ghetto noise. "Clear Channel" and several other Zionist, anti-White media corporations have owned and reformatted WPGC many times since 1984.
In short, "Rock" is racist and dead. Only old goats like us listen to it, and it has nearly vanished from Jewish-dominated broadcast radio.

You've got an interesting thesis there. I've thought many times about the lack of guitar prowess among black performers. Forgive me for any toes I step on... well, SPOILER WARNING that I'm about to express purely personal, subjective opinions that I honestly hope won't offend anybody: black guitar playing, while sometimes brilliant, normally takes the form of (1) blues, a numbingly monotonous and ultimately fatalistic genre after the third or fourth song; (2) rhythm as in rhythm guitar or repetitive riff/hook; or (3) pounding bass lines used to disturb the peace of every neighborhood across the land. $3a would be a kind of truly virtuosic, impressive, prestidigitatious but ultimately worthless bass guitar "shredding" which is in fact central to black music culture today, even to black worship services.
More on that another time -- my point is to agree with your implication that guitars are definitive of white folks and the gews who are our knockoffs/apotheosists in everything. Whites prize guitar skill, romance, vitallty, creativity. The guitar "rides" of classic rock and pop are a lefthanded, backhanded expression of white greatness that is often irresistible. A great artwork painted in mud is still a great artwork.
I think it was around the same time you refer to that rap got popular -- "music" centered on prognathous mil-a-minute jabber, usually with hateful lyrics, guitar as background if that. Then came hiphop, in which guitars are merely another element in minmalized sonic mosaics that mainly defer to a boy and girl fighting.
Strangely enough, the problem of four-wheeled boom boxes was extreme for the first 10-15 years I lived at my present address, but for what feels like at least 5 to 7 years the problem is mostly vanished. People simply don't do it like they used to, thank God. This, too, was part of their religion and not merely for their own putative listening pleasure. Once I found myself driving behind a white teenager with insanely thumping radio. He'd pasted letters on the backwindshield: IF IT'S TO LOUD, YOU'RE TO OLD (his spelling).
