In a way, most studies, ruminations and fulminations on what will our should become of our civilization are moot, because decent people mostly fail (or decline) to notice one of the most corrosive currents in it -- the deep, epochal poisoning of popular music.
Oh, sure, pundits acknowledge it's not what it was when they were kids, that it goes too far with its rebelliousness, etc., but they mostly never take stock of the full extent of it.
I for one can't stop tripping over the stuff. I just went in search of what type of building material MDF might stand for (medium-density fiberboard), and what else should appear in the disambiguation page but Maryland Deathfest.</span>

An annual metal festival. For metalworkers? Metal brokers? Miners? Craftspeople? This is an encyclopedia?
The very genres </span>of this extreme hard rock field keep getting more numerous. Go to this page

Clearly this is also a field in which occult/conspiracy/Insider motifs are flaunted. I was also just looking for old musical items in Ebay and noticed a hideous anomaly among the trite permutations of pop music publishing. Look at the cover!</span>

Since webpages and embedded photos are evanescent, a description of the painting: a naked couple is perched beside a psychidelically-colored butterfly larger than themselves atop a psychidelic flower. Its stem thickens and curls and morphs into the front end of a snake. As if part of its coloration, the snake is wearing a formal black jacket, tie and white shirt -- and its forked tongue and gaping jaws are terrorizing the couple by the butterfly. Behind all this (like a distant background) is a silhouette of (?) angels and demons reveling, playing trumpet, lyre etc.
I've got to send that one to Texe Marrs. Remember now, the Beatles created an uproar by posing for an album cover with bloody butcher knives, surrounded by chopped up baby-dolls. Luv, luv, luv, all you need is luv........
