........and for a better life for their children," etc. These are the stinking clichés you hear in defense of open borders. The useful idiots tell us the invaders loooove ameriKa, they're very patriotic, and even that they want to become good taxpayers.

So..... if they love us so much, why are thousands leaving (thank God) just because of an economic downturn -- and why are 40% fewer of them coming here to wave our flag, play baseball, mourn Michael Jackson, and sing God Bless America?

I'm starting to think they're nothing but a bunch of opportunists.

I guess Wikipedia feels people accept Diversity so nicely today they
can blithely put up something as galling as this the feature article of the day:

The 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror
attack
was the food poisoning of more than 750individuals in
The Dalles, Oregon, United States through the
deliberate contamination of salad
bars at ten local restaurants with salmonella. A leading group of followers of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (now known
as Osho) had hoped to incapacitate the voting population of the city so that
their own candidates would win the 1984 Wasco County elections. The incident was
the first bioterrorism
attack in the United States, and the single largest bioterrorist attack in
United States history. The attack is one of only two confirmed terrorist uses of
biological weapons to harm humans. Having
previously gained political control of Antelope, Oregon, Rajneesh's followers based in nearby Rajneeshpuram sought election
to two of the three seats on the Wasco County Circuit Court which were up for
election in November 1984. Fearing they would not gain enough votes,
Rajneeshpuram officials decided to incapacitate voters in The Dalles, the
largest population center in Wasco County. (more...)

Numerous "news" stories are now wailing that the poor newcomers still can't find their utopia after dropping everything in their home countries and coming here. And always the reason they cite is -- the crash!

But the spin isn't in sympathy with the hard-working Americans who have seen their careers and savings go up in smoke as the dollar reaches the vanishing point, oh no. The sensitive scribblers of the progressive daily press are prone with grief for the poor newcomers who will alas have to trudge onward or backward in search of the good life.

Truly we must pity these "tired," these "poor", these "huddled masses yearning to breathe free". We've failed the dears!

African Migrants Abandon the American Dream
..........Frustrated by tough economic times in the United States, Sammy Maina is packed, ready and waiting to return to Kenya.

“I’m fed up and finished with the US,†declares Mr Maina, 33, owner of a
prepaid calling card firm, Myaatel, and a money transfer company,
Doubles Xpress, that caters for African immigrants.........

Oddly enough, they interview another such hapless waif named Onyango, just like Pretendent Obama's grandfather, half-brother etc.
