An article entitled "Campaign Trail Update

Weekend campaigning in North-Central Arkansas "Successful""

Last Thursday’s interview and photoshoot with the Russellville, Arkansas Courier newspaper resulted in a front page story in the Sunday edition which reached thousands of Arkansas voters. Friday’s on-camera interview with Spike TV about the Roper for Governor campaign will have more long-term beneficial exposure as its result. Saturday’s Candidates Forum in Mountain View, which included speeches from local candidates for Constable and Justice of the Peace as well as a local Ozark Tea Party organization leader, featured write-in candidate for governor Billy Roper as the keynote speaker. Following his speech, Roper took any and all questions from the audience, a few of them challenging in tone, and answered each question to everyone’s satisfaction and acceptance. In fact, several local political activists who had come to the event initially opposing Roper’s campaign left supporting it, and pledged to not only give him their vote, but to encourage their peers to do the same.

The Roper for Governor Campaign spent the rest of the weekend campaigning throughout Izard, Stone, Van Buren, Conway, Baxter, Searcy, and Marion counties, and Roper for Governor campaign signs were given out to be placed as far away as Paragould and Blytheville.

"I have been overwhelmed this weekend by how many of my fellow Arkansans, once they meet me face to face and begin to talk with me, find out that they agree with me on the core issues." Roper said following a "meet and greet" reception in Mountain View. "All most people need is someone to let them know that it’s alright to say what they really think, and the truth comes out. This thing is really taking off!"

The Roper Campaign had contacted both the Keet and Beebe campaigns, as well as the Governor’s scheduling coordinator and campaign coordinator, ahead of time, as had others, but neither of the establishment party candidates attended the forum. The next Candidates Forum is being planned for about a month from now, so stay tuned to this website for details.

An article entitled "Fair and Honest Media Coverage!"

Sunday’s front page headline story on the Roper Campaign in the Russellville, Arkansas Courier newspaper was relatively fair and honest media coverage.

Roper is worthy of support, a natural populist.

An article entitled "Arkansas citizens speak out about our future!"

At last weekend’s candidate’s forum in Mountain View, I and the other candidates for public office in Arkansas had an opportunity to not only field questions from the audience in town hall fashion, but to ask them what their concerns were and receive feedback from them, as well. This was a very educational and informative exchange, for me.

A few of the more revealing opinions expressed by the audience members:

*Unanimously, they feel that a vote for either of the establishment political parties is a vote for the lesser of two evils, or rather, a vote AGAINST one candidate, rather than in favor of any particular candidate.

*Unanimously, they believe that the United States of America will not exist as one nation one hundred years from now.

*Unanimously, they believe that within their lifetimes, Whites will become a minority in the United States.

When I asked them how many of them believed that this final trend made no difference, or was a good thing, not a single one raised their hand. Please bear in mind that this audience represented a wide spectrum of the community who voluntarily attended the forum, and were not a part of any White Nationalist organization, nor would have considered themselves supporters of the racialist movement. But, when I went down the line and discussed each of my platform issues of my governor’s campaign, almost every single voter present agreed with my position on every issue. This was very encouraging.

What I find, time after time, is that their hearts are in the right place, and they still know the truth. They just need honest and courageous leadership, to stand up and speak that truth, first. I hope to provide that leadership.

An article entitled "Northeastern Arkansas Not Left Behind"

White flight pouring eastwards out of the decaying metropolis of Memphis into Arkansas has been going on for decades, and has if anything increased since the city became an African ruled third world municipal dictatorship. The bordering Arkansas counties of Mississippi, Craighead, and Poinsett have become to a large degree White bedroom communities for Memphis. It is there that the men and women who keep Memphis running on life support live, as they commute back and forth into and from the jungle every day. And, it is for this reason that the Roper for Governor campaign is not going to ignore or write off northeastern Arkansas as former Republican strategists have. White families who have taken the extraordinary step of actually moving in order to get away from nonWhites are more likely to vote for Roper for Governor than Whites who live in rural areas where they have yet to experience enough diversity to understand what it truly means for their children to be a minority in public schools and for their neighborhoods to no longer be safe, even in daytime. Whites who have fled nonWhite urban areas are just the constituents we need to reach out to. That is why the Roper for Governor campaign has established literature distribution centers in small towns like Trumann and Paragould in these counties, with more coming online every day to assist our ongoing mailing campaigns. As a matter of fact, Billy Roper’s parents moved from southeastern Arkansas to northwestern Arkansas a generation ago, for exactly the same reason. So, if you live in northeastern Arkansas and feel abandoned by the state’s political candidates, there is one person who knows just what your family has endured, and appreciates your unique sacrifices and perspective. We hope that you will reach out to our campaign and join your fellow Arkansas citizens in sending a message to Little Rock that what happened to Shelby County, Tennessee over the last generation has NOT been an improvement. Let them know that you did not move to where you are just to see the Tarzan movie extras follow you here. Write in Billy Roper for Governor this November 2nd!

An article entitled "Campaign Trail Update"

The "Conservative Arkansas" political action committee, headed up by former Congressional candidate and Tea Party favorite retired Air Force Gen. Bernie Skoch, sent a candidate questionnaire to Billy Roper to gauge his positions on the issues, which he has returned to them finding himself to be in complete agreement with their policy positions. The follow-up communication from one of their directors was very encouraging, as well. Governor candidate Roper had discussions and meetings with local Tea Party organizers, as well as politicians on the town and county level this week, as a part of our continuing campaign to get out the patriotic, conservative White vote in Arkansas on November 2nd.

This weekend, come and meet Billy Roper on the campaign trail as he returns to Cleveland, Conway County, to meet with local candidates and political supporters there! Campaign stops scheduled across the Arkansas River Valley, beginning in Russellville and working our way East.

Next weekend: Conway, Cabot, Searcy, Newport, Walnut Ridge, Pocahontas, and Corning, working our way North.

The most positive response from our targeted constituency comes when we show them a comparison of Billy Roper’s track record and positions with the other candidates.

Billy Roper has done more, legally and in terms of education and activism, to stop illegal immigration into Arkansas, than any other candidate for governor.

Billy Roper, as a former classroom teacher in Arkansas, has had more direct experience working with the state’s struggling educational system, than any other candidate for governor.

Billy Roper, as a staunch defender of the second amendment, is the only candidate for governor who is a card-carrying member of the NRA.

In fact, it would be fair to say that through his efforts combating illegal immigrants flooding into Arkansas to take away the jobs of citizens, Billy Roper has discouraged the practice so zealously that it’s probable that he has saved more jobs for legal Arkansas citizens than Mike Beebe has created as governor, or Jim Keet has created with his restaurants.

An article entitled "Letters To Editor Indicate Public Support For Roper Campaign"

    Responding to the response

Thank you for the continued press to all of the liberals and anti-white racists who continue to ingrain my name into the minds of white voters leading up to the November general election. When they go into the privacy of the voting booth, without the politically-correct thought police looking over their shoulders, white Arkansas voters can decide for themselves whether whites need a vocal advocate for our own interests, just as other groups have.

A previous writer stated, "I think it is fair to say that modern democracy has existed since 1776. Coincidentally, the United States, an obvious multiracial democracy, has existed for exactly as long." The obvious intent is to imply that our Founding Fathers established a democracy, which they did not. The United States is a Constitutional Republic. Of course, based on their own stated intent, the Founding Fathers did not intend our nation to be multiracial either, as Thomas Jefferson clearly stated when he wrote: "Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people are to be free. Nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion has drawn indelible lines of distinction between them." None of the Founding Fathers intended the United States to be a democracy, much less a multiracial one.

My enemies promote uncontrolled immigration and amnesty for the invaders already here. They support homosexual marriage and abortion. They are in favor of gun control and the brainwashing of our children against the values which made America strong.

As to the others who keep calling my home harassing and cursing, or try to use censorship as varied as social networking sites and the physical removal of my campaign signs to silence Arkansas voters, ya’ll just continue to spell my name right, and the good voters of Arkansas can and will speak Nov. 2.

An article entitled "More Endorsements and Invitations"

Independent Presidential Candidate and long time Majority Rights Activist Brian Holland announced in Knoxville, TN, on August 14th that he was personally endorsing the efforts of Arkansas write in Gubernatorial Candidate Billy Roper. Brian’s public statement at a downtown Knoxville rally is available below:

"Billy Roper is a man of integrity, a man with daring ideas, and a man who knows this nation is headed in the wrong direction. I have known Billy for some ten years now, and I have faith in him and his abilities. Billy Roper is what’s best for Arkansas, and I encourage the great people of Arkansas to take a long look at the available candidates. If you can find one better than Billy Roper, by all means, cast your vote for them. But, in my opinion, you will find no better candidate than Billy."

Candidate Roper has been invited to meet with representatives of the Arkansas Police Benevolent Association at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in Little Rock on September 23rd. APBA Arkansas Division President Scott Hicks gave a candidate questionnaire to Roper, measuring the candidate’s support for law enforcement officers. Remarking on the invitation, Candidate Roper stated "I believe that my anti-drug, anti-gang, pro-law and order platform, as well as the expressed support my campaign has already received from Arkansas law enforcement personnel at the local and County level, prove that our friends in blue know who the true enemies of liberty are, and I welcome their support and endorsements of my candidacy."

An article entitled "Campaign Trail Update"

On Thursday night, September 16th, the Roper for Governor Campaign hit the Pope County Fair, where the most positive reactions to the campaign business cards passed out and the campaign T-shirts on display were from the River Valley Gun Club table and the Crisis Pregnancy Care Center, due to Billy Roper’s well known anti-abortion and pro-gun platform positions. Several fair-goers recognized candidate Roper and openly expressed support for his campaign. Next week: the Van Buren County Fair!

Friday night was the much anticipated Candidates Forum sponsored by the local American Legion post of Leslie at the Ozark Heritage Arts Center. Pictured is Billy Roper explaining to the crowd of roughly eighty present why they should write in his name for governor on November 2nd. All of the comments and reaction from the attendees afterwards were very positive, including those from local political leaders and law enforcement officers. Many took home “Roper for Governor” fliers to share with those who could not attend. The strongest applause during candidate Roper’s speech came when he spoke candidly about his opposition to the legalization of homosexual marriage, and his strong record of opposing illegal immigration, which stood in stark contrast to the Green Party gubernatorial candidate, who stated during his speech that America was founded on the ideas of equality and diversity. When asked by one of the audience members at the question and answer session following the Forum if he agreed, Roper stated “When I look at a picture of the Founding Fathers who were signers of the Declaration of Independence, no, they don’t look like a very diverse group; and when I read who they gave citizenship to when they drafted the Constitution, I don’t believe that attempting to enforce some mythical idea of artificial equality was very high on their agenda. Of course, our Founding Fathers probably weren’t smoking what the Green Party guys want to legalize, so that might explain the discrepancy.”

On Saturday, candidate Roper attended an Arkansas Razorback football game watch party with about sixty supporters in Mountain View, then continued his intensive campaigning in north-central Arkansas, where he and his team placed campaign signs throughout Pope, Conway, Van Buren, Searcy, Marion, and Stone counties, and concentrated voter outreach in Marshall, Yellville, and Clinton.

Congratulations to Mr. Ryan Murdough, an openly White Nationalist candidate for Congress who won 11% of the vote as a first time candidate in the Republican primary in New Hampshire last week.

Let us leave you with this thought about the cost of moderation: In 1964, Barry Goldwater was considered far too extremist a right winger to be elected. Moderate Republican Nelson Rockefeller refused to wear a “Goldwater” campaign pin, while Richard M. Nixon campaigned tirelessly for Goldwater in 40 states, despite the fear of the smear by association. Even though Goldwater only carried two states, his native Arizona, and Louisiana, because courageous men like Billy Roper Sr. worked their tails off campaigning for him there and warning folks of the dangers of LB.J.’s “Great Society”, four years later voter reaction to Johnson’s liberal policies led Nixon to the White House…and Rockefeller into relative obscurity. Something to ponder for those who know the truth but are afraid to stand too close to those who are not afraid to speak it loudly.

An article entitled "Instructions for Arkansas voters"

From the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office, in response to our inquiry on how voters who vote without using paper ballots can make sure that their write-in vote for Billy Roper for governor is counted: Election Coordinators have said that there is a place on the screen (on an electronic, touch-screen voting machine) when voting for a write in candidate, that when pressed will pull up a screen like a type writer. The voter will then type in the name of the write in candidate, in the provided area. The correct spelling is BILLY ROPER.

An article entitled "Roper for Governor campaign suspends fundraising!"

Write in Candidate claims enough donations have been received to cover campaign expenses through November 2nd. Supporters asked to contribute time, instead of money.
    "Enough, already!"

    "Enough, already!"

When was the last time any candidate for public office said “ENOUGH” more than a month before election day, and asked that noone else contribute to his campaign? That’s exactly what write-in candidate for governor of Arkansas Billy Roper has done!

Speaking to supporters in Conway this morning, Roper said “In today’s economy, with most of my constituency living paycheck to paycheck, I refuse to take another dime of their hard-earned money for my campaign. If the rest of our campaign funds are used up before November 2nd, I will pay the remaining expenses we incur out of my pocket.”</span>

Instead of contributing more funds to the campaign, the candidate asked his supporters to contribute their time in spreading the word about the Roper for Governor campaign with their friends and family members who share their concern for the future of Arkansas children. “With a 21% gap now stetching out between Republican Keet and Democrat Beebe according to the most recent polls, noone can say that a vote for Roper would be wasted any more than a vote for Keet, nor that a vote for Roper might harm the Republican candidate’s chances, nor make it more likely that Beebe will win. Frankly, Beebe winning re-election is a foregone conclusion at this point. What conservative voters need to focus on is that their consciences should now be free for them to vote according to their hearts, rather than pragmatically for the lesser of two evils, this time. The Republican Party in Arkansas ran a moderate candidate against a liberal candidate, and they will lose. Since there is only the even more liberal Green Party candidate on the ballot as an alternative, conservative voters in Arkansas have no reason not to write in Billy Roper for Governor on November 2nd. This is the message we should now begin to proclaim throughout our state over the next few months</span>.”

An article entitled "Campaign Trail Report: Five weeks to go!"

Roper for Governor campaign signs have been put up in eastern Yell County in the Casa, Adona, and Petit Jean Mountain areas, and over the weekend a different group of campaign supporters carried the message of our candidate to a city festival in Plainview, in western Yell County, where the local political candidates present were given the opportunity to answer whether they support White rights, and how they feel about the Roper for Governor candidacy, neither of which they were at all comfortable in answering.

While candidate Roper himself campaigned Saturday at the Van Buren County Fair in Clinton after putting in an appearance at the Fall Fest held at the Hector school gymnasium Friday night, volunteers passed out hundreds of educational campaign fliers at the annual Duck Festival in eastern Arkansas’ Poinsett County. Campaigning at this particular county fair, Billy Roper networked with a local group called “Mothers Against Methamphetamines” with whom he discussed drug interdiction and rehabilitation policy, as well as his positions that those who are using illegal drugs should be denied state social services benefits, those who manufacture and distribute illegal drugs should face the death penalty or deportation, and that securing our borders would aid not only in the illegal immigration invasion problem, but in the importation of illegal drugs, as well. Roper then met with a representative from the Democratic Party who was the former prosecuting attorney for the 20th judicial district, and continued his discussion of the blight of illegal drugs in the area, and whether ballot initiatives or legislative bills were best suited to force the establishment of drug courts in the rural counties of north-central Arkansas in which they are so badly needed.

This coming Tuesday evening: After he begins intensive telephone polling of voters in the central Arkansas region, write-in candidate for governor Billy Roper has agreed to join popular Arkansas radio personality Sharp Dunaway live on the air in Little Rock in order to help fight Autism and raise awareness and funding for research and treatment of the disease.

This week the write-in candidate received an invitation to attend the NAACP’s 19th annual “Dove Freedom Fund Banquet” in Pine Bluff on October 29th. He RSVP’d by sending an e-mail saying “Thank you for your invitation to the 19th annual NAACP Dove Freedom Fund Banquet October 29th in Pine Bluff. As a write-in candidate for governor, I will have to carefully compare the date of the event listed in this invitation with my scheduled speaking engagements, and get back to you on whether I can attend.” Lula Dickson, the local NAACP, personally responded by requesting that Roper attend the NAACP banquet. If he does attend, Roper plans on speaking on how liberal Democrats have used blacks as their patsies in order to be able to push through their own socialist agendas by attempting to smear anyone who opposes Obama’s socialist actions as being a “racist”.

    by Billy Roper"

    Write-in Candidate for Arkansas Governor

Hey, if Jim Keet can be an advisory board member of the United Negro College Fund, then noone should mind that I’m promoting this…as if I care, any way:

It’s getting cooler weather, and that means that it is time once again to gear up WR’s, which we’ll now call the Blood and Honour American Division’s, White Family Network. Please send your good used baby and children’s clothes and gently pre-loved toys to: P.O. Box 2024, Russellville, AR 72811. And, if you know of a White family who is in need of children or babies clothes or toys this season, please let us know, thanks! Also, anyone bringing a bag of good used baby or children’s clothing or a new toy to the Blood and Honour American Division Fall Fest (in north-central Arkansas, RSVP for details) on October 30th will get in free.

An article entitled "We’re going the distance!"

An Arkansas Times staffer supportive of the “Roper For Governor” campaign has leaked the information that a major media story is forthcoming within the next 48 hours covering Billy Roper’s write in campaign for governor. This is apparently separate from the Associated Press article for which candidate Roper gave a lengthy interview to AP writer Heather Hollingsworth Wednesday evening.

Current statewide polls continue to indicate a double-digit lead for Democratic (Tweedledum) candidate Beebe over Republican (Tweedledee) candidate Keet. Fifteen percent of Arkansans who indicated that they are going to vote in the Nov. 2nd election are still undecided about for which candidate for governor they will ultimately side. With such a large gap between the two establishment candidates, write in candidate Roper cannot be painted as a spoiler whose supporters might cost moderate Keet the election to the more liberal Beebe. This means, as previously stated, that more conservative voters will be free to vote their conscience, rather than for the ‘lesser of two evils’. In fact, with a Beebe re-election inevitable, the only meaningful vote which conservative Arkansans can cast this November 2nd will be a protest vote for write in candidate Billy Roper.

In the 2008 elections, a little over one million Arkansans voted. With 2010 being a mid-term election, but a fervently contested and polarized one, if voter turnout is similar, then Roper gaining just one percent of the current undecided vote would equal fifteen thousand write-in votes, a number unprecedented in Arkansas electoral history. Independent and third party telephone surveys of potential Arkansas voters indicate a higher level of candidate name recognition for write in candidate Billy Roper than for any of the other write in candidates for governor, or in fact for the Green Party candidate for the state’s highest executive office.

In response to recent campaign speech shifts to the right by Keet, candidate Roper stated “For the whole campaign addressing the illegal immigration invasion has not been a priority for United Negro College Fund advisory board member Jim Keet. If the notoriety gained by my campaign’s conservative platform has influenced his campaign promises, that’s a good thing, but I don’t think that Arkansans can trust him to promote conservative social and cultural values if he was elected. His airplane ended up landing far to the left of Arkansas for tax purposes, and I believe that his worldview lands far to the left of most Arkansans, as well.”

An article entitled "A Promise You Can Count On"

I, Billy Roper, a write-in candidate for governor of Arkansas, pledge to the taxpayers of the state of Arkansas that I will oppose and veto any and all efforts to increase taxes.
This signed statement has been sent to the Americans for Tax Reform organization after their letter to candidate Roper asking him to join the conservative candidates for public office from across the nation who are opposed to the growing gluttony and arrogance of the federal and state governments of the United States.

An article entitled " NRA Betrays Arkansas Gun Owners"

Only one candidate for governor of Arkansas entered the race as a card-carrying member of the National Rifle Association. Only one candidate for governor of Arkansas can truthfully claim to be an active supporter of the 2nd amendment in its unbridled, original intent. Today, write in candidate for governor Billy Roper renounced his National Rifle Association membership in disgust due to the N.R.A. endorsing liberal Democratic incumbent Mike Beebe for governor.

    As others have noted,

The NRA deliberately derailed a lawsuit that was filed over the California semi-auto ban by another gun group, and the NRA opposed concealed carry in national parks until the last minute, when they had to jump in and claim credit.
Now, Billy Roper stands alongside Sharron Angle, another candidate for public office, in her case the U.S. Senate from Nevada, whom the N.R.A. has also been too cowardly to endorse.

Remarking on the N.R.A. endorsement of Beebe, Roper fumed “I’ve been to Lexington Green, and stood there where the government once tried to take military-grade firearms away from private American citizens. I know which side Mike Beebe would have been on in that fight, and now I know which side the collaborators in the N.R.A. would have been on, as well.”

An article entitled "Campaign Trail Report"

Three more newspaper articles mentioning Billy Roper’s write in campaign for governor of Arkansas came out this week: The Paragould Daily Press, The Clay County Democrat, and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, as well as numerous internet opinion blogs from both the right and the left.

Here is a transcript of most of candidate Roper’s message delivered to the Arkansas League of Women Voters at their candidates forum in Ft. Smith:

“…it’s an honor to be able to deliver this message to the League of Women Voters. Nature and Nature’s God made men and women 99% identical, and so the interests, concerns, and issues of men and women as voters are 99% identical. However, as I regularly tell my wife, I am very thankful for that 1% difference, and it is those issues of most specific concern to women voters which I’d like to address. Many of you may have heard that as a write in candidate for governor I am concerned with illegal immigration and taxes, and that’s true. But as the father of a ten year old girl in Arkansas public schools I’m also very concerned that our daughters receive quality educations and are encouraged to achieve greatness academically, as we tell our daughter, so she can be a veterinarian some day if that’s what she wants to be.

I feel that Arkansas citizens are tired of having to vote for the lesser of two evils, and want a real choice for governor. You might have heard that I am against abortion, which is also true, as I believe that life begins at conception and that abortion is just as much an assault on women as it is on children. Every abortion leaves two casualties: one killed, and one wounded. But you might not have heard that I am in favor of enhanced sentencing guidelines for domestic abuse as well as in all forms of violence against women and children.

As governor, I would promote equal pay for equal work. Today’s economic reality is that in most families, mothers and wives have to work in order to make ends meet. They should be rewarded equally for their time and efforts in the workplace. Speaking of time, thank you for yours, and I hope that you will consider writing in Billy Roper for governor on November 2nd.”
