    Neocon neocons neoconservative neoconservatives

There, a thread title searchable from any of those words.

Shill O'Reilly attempts to interview David Duke without allowing him to finish a sentence. If you can catch it, almost buried in Shill's yammer is an admission that he's only interested in getting certain words out of people -- clearly his only objective here.

This "irascible interviewer" shtick is the kind of stuff that gets everybody at each other's throats. It has no basis in reality, it's just a soviet socialist attitude engineering tactic, another admission that the System has nothing to work with but gimmicks.

O'Reilly is a mirror image of Phil Donahue. Donahue has used the same tactics for decades. Like O'Reilly he attributes fake or incomplete quotes to his guests as gimmicks.

A perfect example of this occurred in 2003 when Jared Taylor appeared on his show. Donahue posted the following quote on the screen written by Taylor in 1996," ‘Ugly Mexicans’ and ‘ugly Haitians’ come here to live permanently, but we are supposed to be endlessly sensitive to their peculiarities, and revel in the diversity of toadying to their ethnic demands.”

Taylor, like Duke, replied that this was not the way he talks or writes. Of course he was being truthful and published the full qoute and response in an American Renaissance issue a few months later. Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands saw the manipulated Donahue quote, only a few thousand read the full quote in Taylor's magazine.

Response from AR April 2003: The Ugly Truth

"There were the usual attempts to ambush Mr. Taylor with “racist” quotations from American Renaissance, all but one of which Mr. Taylor defended and endorsed. The one exception was the following, which Mr. Donahue read as an example of AR’s mean-spiritedness. “Ugly Mexicans and ugly Haitians come here to live permanently, but we are supposed to be endlessly sensitive to their peculiarities ...”

Mr. Taylor replied that he did not recall calling immigrants “ugly,” but if that was what was in AR, it must have been what he wrote. In fact, the context gives the sentence a very different meaning:

“There used to be much talk about ‘ugly Americans,’ who traveled overseas expecting to find hamburgers and English-speakers, and who ignorantly deprecated the quaint customs of the natives. We were supposed to be deeply ashamed of them — and they were only tourists! ‘Ugly Mexicans’ and ‘ugly Haitians’ come here to live permanently, but we are supposed to be endlessly sensitive to their peculiarities, and revel in the diversity of toadying to their ethnic demands.” (AR, June 1996.)

The quotation marks around “ugly Mexicans” and “ugly Haitians” were, of course, inaudible when Mr. Donahue read the passage, and it is hard to think this was anything other than an attempt to give a false impression. Mr. Taylor has published at least a million words, but liberals apparently have to distort them to find something shocking or unreasonable."

I remember subscribing to AR for the first time just a month earlier. After the Donahue interview Taylor noted that new subscriptions to AR greatly increased over the next few months. I am going to kick back with a glass of wine and watch Jared Taylor's excellent one hour appearance.

I viewed much of that material in Youtube a while back and was greatly impressed. Love the point at which Phool is suddenly stuck for a retort, stutters, and is mimicked by our hero. See, that's what's missing -- our people never give back in kind like they could, but there was a great if fleeting case of it, and Phool for a split second looked like the absolute chowderhead he really is.

Phool was the extreme liberal Dummacrat of the genre, O'Reilly the extreme liberal neocon.

This Marco Rubio is the all-around diversity creep of the universe. To PJB's question "Is Marco Rubio tomorrow's man. Or is he just an echo of yesterday" I would answer "more like a cross between Stalin and the Boston Strangler".
