Irving is Jewish??? First time I've heard of that.

If one looks at the source http://sarah-palin-2008.blogspot.com...arah-palin-has -jewish-ancestry.html it gives both sides looks like the dispute is based on the name " Sheeran" an Irish name that some Jews named "Sheigam" took as their own but it appears that the side that claims she is not Jewish have done the research to establish that she is not Jewish.
Looking at her politics, she is a Christian-Zionist but in every other way she is just about the opposite of Jews. Jews take White Christian names and than can fool people into business deals that these people would not do with a Jew but before long the Jews dirty dealings have soiled the name and even thoughn only a tiny of the people with the name are Jews the name becomes associated with Jews. Looking at the two sides it appears that the case for her being of White Christian decent is far stronger.
It seems that when someone in the White nationalist movement doesn't like someone either inside the movement or outside it they will claim that the person is Jewish. This just waste time and resources when the evidence is so weak as it is in the Sarah Palin case. The reason to oppose her is based on her Christian-Zionist stands not her bloodlines. Trying to discredit her ancestry does no good since they are easily pushed aside by evidence.
I still have my doubts. Your source is WikiAnswers which is a division of Answers.com which, for some reason, reproduces thousandsof Wikipedia articles whole hog. Or it did for most of its lifetime in my experience.
