Here are some other feats of Pastor Crowley's for good measure.
1. When the Holohoax museum went up in DC, hepicketed it faithfully and publicized the fact that a film shown continuously in it attempted to tear down Christianity and blame the Holy-co$t on it. He raised enough noise to get the film altered -- an almost unprecedented accomplishment in terms of truth engineering.

3. He has done all this -- certainly in the time I've known him -- under the burden of a serious heart condition.

Good post, A couple of things. Those Amtracks were indeed coffins. I never was on one, other than in beach landing exercizes outside of Vietnam. I don't think the Marines used them much in Vietnam in combat. At least, not my unit.
Something most people forget or didn't ever know. After the Kent State shootings, the hippies planned a big demonstration in NYC. That day, I was working down at the battery (I was already back home and out of the Corps), right across the street from the induction center. We broke for lunch and up the street at the treasury building was a mass of hippies having a demonstration. One of the hippies, up on the steps was going to blow his nose on the flag when a laborer from our job hit that guy a shot in the jaw you wouldn't believe. The guy fell down the steps and a whole bunch of guys from the job started applying the boot to the bum. At that point all hell broke loose.The guys just started beating the hellout of any and all hippies. The Downtown area (below city Hall) became a battle ground. There was a lot of work then and more and more guys from different jobs joined in as the day wore on. The culmination was that somehow we ended up at city hall where the flag was at half staff for the Kent State "students." We sent a delegation of workers into city halland demanded that the flag be raised to full staff. The mayor Lindsay (F-ck him) wasn't there, but a deputy mayor, Sid Davidoff (What else?) said he didnt have authorization to do it. He was told in no uncertain terms that he had about two minutes to raise the flag or we would authorize it ourselves. The flag went up fast. You couldn't find a cop for love or money down there that day (of course, that's when the city had real cops, not these poor slobs they've got today). From there the guys went acrossto Pace College and set upon those students. That's about the time I went home. Things were getting out of hand. Of course, this was all spontaneous. No "leadership" at all. about a week later, there was an organized demonstration by the building trades council that drew over a half millionpeople. Of course, the NY Times went berserk with its condemnation of the wholesale beatings of the "children." I always remember them using that term, children. what was that, I thought, they wern't children. Of course, it was justone of the first uses of manipulation of language that we see so much of today, but I didn't know it then.
So, anyway, whitefreeman, thosehippies didn't have it all there way in those days. At that time there was really a "Silent Majority," and on that day,we weren't silent.

Great post, John. I remember as a kid watching news stories of the construction workers beating the crap out of the hippies in New York. It was the kind of large, spontaneous resistance that whites stillexhibited when the Cultural Revolution was in full bloom. By the mid-'70s that resistance had mostly faded and the Cultural Marxists have pretty much had their way ever since, with most "resistance" coming from the likes of Judaized Christian Zionists like Falwell, Robertson, etc., in other words no real resistance at all.

DR HENRY JORDAN FILES WITH GOP FOR LT. GOVERNOR
On March 29th, Dr. Henry Jordan filed as a candidate in the Republican (GOP) primary for Lt. Governor. Dr. Jordan has a long record of involvement in GOP and conservative politics in South Carolina, but has not been active in recent years. He last ran for office in the three-way GOP primary for Lt. Governor in 1994, losing to Bob Peeler in the run-off election. From 19997 to 2001 he served on the State Board of Education, where he supported religious liberty issues. He was best known during his tenure on the State Board of Education for his defense of the public display of the Ten Commandments, including the constitutional right of students to post the Ten Commandments on the walls of our public schools. He secured a favorable legal opinion from Attorney General Charlie Condon and the South Carolina House of Representatives passed a resolution that endorsed posting the Ten Commandments in schools but the State Board of Education resisted and opposed it.
Some have asked why Dr. Jordan is entering the race for Lt. Governor now, when both Lt. Governor Andre Bauer and Mike Campbell have been campaigning for many months. Dr. Jordan explains that many Republicans are not satisfied with the weak field of candidates. Many people have approached him and asked him to consider entering the race. “I have been considering this race for over six months, and the last straw was the current traffic violations and potential legal problems of Lt. Governor Bauer. The Lt. Governor is ethically challenged, and Mike Campbell does not have the requisite experience for the office. Lt. Governor Bauer is not a good example for South Carolina when he repeatedly ignores laws that all other citizens must respect and obey. Mike Campbell should not expect South Carolina to elect him simply on the basis of his family name and his father’s record, when he has insufficient experience to recommend him. We need mature and experienced leaders.”
Dr. Jordan said further, “South Carolina needs leaders who have shown an ability to contribute and serve the public in different roles over the decades.” For thirty years, Jordan has been a general surgeon and a medical doctor. During that time, he has been active in politics and public policy as well as in religious and church affairs. He is also a Colonel, USAF Reserve Retired, and is a Vietnam veteran. In his final assignment he was Reserve Chief of Surgery for the US Air Force Academy hospital. As he approaches the conventional age for retirement he is still committed to preserving the American dream for our children and grandchildren. “We must never give in, never give up, never quit. South Carolina needs the contributions of its older, mature, and seasoned citizens, now as never before. I say now to my many South Carolina friends and fellow citizens: Never give in, never give up, never quit.” Dr. Jordan is 61 years old.
Dr. Jordan has two primary agenda items. The first is doing what is in the best long-range interests of the next generation of South Carolinians. The second is helping Governor Mark Sanford complete his agenda for school choice, tax reform, reducing the size and the expense of government, improving health care quality while reducing cost, and advancing our state’s contribution to homeland security.
Dr. Jordan is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy and Emory Medical School in Atlanta. He flew 32 combat missions in the last year of the Vietnam War as a bombardier-navigator while also serving as a flight surgeon for the US Air Force. He ran for the US Senate in 1986, Congress in 1988 and Lt. Governor in 1994. He was appointed by Governor Carroll Campbell to serve on the DHEC Board from 1987-1991 and was elected by the DHEC Board to serve one year as Chairman. He served as the last voluntary President of the South Carolina Policy Council (SCPC), South Carolina’s premier public policy organization, and also as a SCPC Board Member for 16 years. He served as an elected member of the State Board of Education from 1997-2001. He is a retired general surgeon, currently working in emergency medicine. He is married to Pat McGill Jordan and has three children and three grandchildren. He is a member of Northside Baptist Church in Anderson, South Carolina, where he grew up and practices medicine.

About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the MaricopaCountyJailhave been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.
On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.
Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.
"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 1/2 years. "It's inhumane."
Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic.
He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes . . . so shut your ___________ mouths."

Comments: While not everyone who reads the above will join in offering kudos to Maricopa County's "tough-guy Sheriff" Joe Arpaio, the recitation of his controversial policies and public utterances is mostly accurate. The problem here is (as I've pointed out to all major Christian Identity figures who would stand still long enough) that nobody knows their own total genetic makeup or anybody else's. We had a good one in Richard Mack from Arizona. Don't recall if he was defeated or retired, but he's an ex-sheriff now, still a speaker at patriotic gatherings. But having one or two good sheriffs is a lot like having just one or two good Congressmen -- it's nice that they exist, but we need a whole heck of a lot more.

Re Pastor Dale Crowley, his latest Capitol Hill Voice newsletter has just arrived with a cover story on his instant, unexplained dismissal from radio programming he'd done for decades.It's shocking and totalitarian.

See, this country is supposed to be the land of the free, one that enjoys "freedom from fear" according to one of its favorite old dead gods, FDR -- but most people are afraid to even mention, much less name, the power that dominates everything.
Similarly, "our" government is engaged in a millennial "war on terror," but the fact that Americans themselves live in terror of this or that institution concerns it not at all.
Pastor Crowley speculates that it was the so-called Jewish Defense League that put the burn on the radio people -- and one would have to say their behavior seems to indicate such more strongly than a mere inquiry from the ADL.

Welcome, welcome, Professor -- It's incredibly good to have you with us. I remember reading your name many times but it was the very title and catalog description that made a profound impact on me. I fear The Mediator is among the many books I've ordered that never actually got read, but since then I have frequently made mental reference to the fact that someone thought the concept major enough to write a book on it, and it's influenced my own innumerable barbs and blasts against the mediator class which is still so shockinglypowerful.
Ah, if only everyone would stop and think for two minutes about the extent to which self-appointed thought police, do-gooders, talk-show hosts, etc. dominate their lives and thought!
Please tell us more about our legendary heroes Messrs. Ireland, Oliver et al. Where are Howard and Allen today? (Figuratively, I mean.) Did they share their father's political passions to any extent -- unlike the progeny of many others in our camp? Another thing that I've always wondered is to what extent, if any, the people at Howard Allen felt themselves in danger over their work. To quote myself: It was stated somewhere that Instauration was put together in one state, published in another, and mailed from a third -- I suppose for secrecy's sake? What are your thoughts in what would have happened if he had used his real name and a "real address", etc.? It was legal to publish his material back then, though I always assumed (perhaps wrongly) that they'd find some way to indict the "perpetrator" of such a publishing coup if he were caught.
Sadly, I eventually found that Instauration seemd to have "run its course" and lost direction, so I unsubscribed. But ah, the high points before then, they were very high and very numerous.
