<DIV align=left>War crime, payback or a legitimate attack aimed at shortening World War II? The destruction of Dresden on February 13, 1945 isone ofthe most controversial bombing raids of the conflict. It's now the subject of a new German film that aims to tell the story from severalpoints of view. Germany is remembering the near total destruction of one of its most beautiful cities by Allied bombers in one night 61 years ago with the release of the first feature film about the World War II air raid on Dresden that many here still see as a war crime. "Dresden - The Inferno," billed as an anti-war film and a love story, culminates in a graphic portrayal of the night in February 1945 when Britain's Royal Air Force dropped over 2,700 tons of bombs that turned the baroque city known as"Florence of the Elbe" into a wasteland of rubble and charred corpses. American bombers followed up the attacks with two daytime raids on February 14 and 15. </DIV>

130 Years Ago: Take Us Prisoners!

In 1876, the U.S. Army plans a campaign against a group of Sioux and Cheyenne Indians who have ignored a government order to go to a South Dakota reservation. Lt. Col. George A. Custer and his men attack the village of the defiant lot in Montana on June 25, but are soon overwhelmed. Although soldiers plead to the Indians to "take us prisoners," Custer and some 263 cavalrymen are killed in the Battle of Little Bighorn; the Indians suffer a loss of at least 60.

They've found a new enemy in their "war" on "terror" -- racist skinheads! But don't worry, we're safe. Don Rumsfeld is going to set up a task force.

    Irony, irony everywhere........

<DIV>Hate Groups Are Infiltrating the Military, Group Asserts </DIV>
    <DIV>
    <DIV id=article><NYT_TEXT>

A decade after the Pentagon declared a zero-tolerance policy for racist hate groups, recruiting shortfalls caused by the war in Iraq have allowed "large numbers of neo-Nazis and skinhead extremists" to infiltrate the military, according to a watchdog organization.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks racist and right-wing militia groups, estimated that the numbers could run into the thousands, citing interviews with Defense Department investigators and reports and postings on racist Web sites and magazines.

"We've got white Nations graffiti in Baghdad," the group quoted a Defense Department investigator as saying in a report to be posted today on its Web site, www.splcenter.org. "That's a problem."

A Defense Department spokeswoman said officials there could not comment on the report because they had not yet seen it.

The center called on Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld to appoint a task force to study the problem, declare a new zero tolerance policy and strictly enforce it.

The report said that neo-Nazi groups like the National Alliance, whose founder, William Pierce, wrote "The Turner Diaries," the novel that was the inspiration and blueprint for Timothy J. McVeigh's bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building, sought to enroll followers in the Army to get training for a race war.

The groups are being abetted, the report said, by pressure on recruiters, particularly for the Army, to meet quotas that are more difficult to reach because of the growing unpopularity of the war in Iraq.

The report quotes Scott Barfield, a Defense Department investigator, saying, "Recruiters are knowingly allowing neo-Nazis and white supremacists to join the armed forces, and commanders don't remove them from the military even after we positively identify them as extremists or gang members."

Mr. Barfield said Army recruiters struggled last year to meet goals. "They don't want to make a big deal again about neo-Nazis in the military," he said, "because then parents who are already worried about their kids signing up and dying in Iraq are going to be even more reluctant about their kids enlisting if they feel they'll be exposed to gangs and white supremacists".............</DIV></DIV>

<H2>What's the U.S. military doing about radical Muslim soldiers? Not enough.</H2>
    <DIV =article_>

The most disturbing story of the war so far is the fragging at Camp Pennsylvania in Kuwait. According to news reports, on March 23, Sgt. Asan Akbar rolled a grenade into each of three tents of sleeping officers and senior NCOs of the 101st Airborne Division. Then he allegedly shot the soldiers with an automatic weapon as they fled from their tents. Two of them, a major and a captain, died, and 14 others were injured.

The episode is unsettling for a number of reasons, most of all because it exposes a fact about our military that commanders have tried their best to ignore: the presence of radical, anti-American Muslims in the ranks. Akbar, a convert to Islam, reportedly said when he was captured: "You guys are coming into our countries and you're going to rape our women and kill our children." It's increasingly clear that there is a small group of soldiers for whom anti-American fatwas issued in mosques around the world supercede the oath of loyalty they took to their nation.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asan_Akbar

On April 28, 2005, after about seven hours of deliberation, Akbar was sentenced to death. The sentence will be reviewed by a commanding officer and automatically appealed......

The late Austin App reported the thousands of rapes the glorious Allies committed on European locals after (and during?) WW2. Now, meet........ "the official brothel system" Japan had to set up to "comfort"American GIs just after they'd made the world safe for communism.

Something's wrong with this picture. "We" always go in to "liberate" a country, but always leave it at least as enslaved as always -- and more degraded, especially considering the moral excellence we profess and are capable of when we want to be.</span>

Oh, those glorious Allies! Aren't we wonderful! We love us -- hooray for us!

Documents: U.S. troops used 'comfort women' after WWII</font>

TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- Japan's abhorrent practice of enslaving women to provide sex for its troops in World War II has a little-known sequel: After its surrender -- with tacit approval from the U.S. occupation authorities -- Japan set up a similar "comfort women" system for American GIs.</font></font>

An Associated Press review of historical documents and records -- some never before translated into English -- shows American authorities permitted the official brothel system to operate despite internal reports that women were being coerced into prostitution. The Americans also had full knowledge by then of Japan's atrocious treatment of women in countries across Asia that it conquered during the war. </font>

Tens of thousands of women were employed to provide cheap sex to U.S. troops until the spring of 1946, when Gen. Douglas MacArthur shut the brothels down.</font>

The documents show the brothels were rushed into operation as American forces poured into Japan beginning in August 1945.</font>

"Sadly, we police had to set up sexual comfort stations for the occupation troops," recounts the official history of the Ibaraki Prefectural Police Department, whose jurisdiction is just northeast of Tokyo. "The strategy was, through the special work of experienced women, to create a breakwater to protect regular women and girls".........</font>

    <H1>Marine Gets 15 Years in Iraqi's Death</H1></DIV>
CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (AP) - A jury sentenced a Marine sergeant Friday to 15 years in prison for the murder of an Iraqi civilian during a fruitless search for an insurgent.
Sgt. Lawrence G. Hutchins III also was dishonorably discharged, reduced in rank to private and given a written reprimand.
Hutchins stood at attention and looked straight ahead as his sentence was announced. He then sat down and briefly put his head on the table in front of him and looked up with red eyes.
His wife, Reyna Hutchins, burst into tears, and other relatives appeared stunned, with his mother slumping in her chair.
On Thursday, Hutchins became the first and only member of an eight-member squad to be convicted of murder in the killing.
He had been charged with premeditated murder, but jurors struck premeditation from the verdict, meaning Hutchins no longer faced a mandatory life sentence.
Testimony from several of his comrades pointed to him as the mastermind of the plot to kidnap and kill a suspected insurgent.
The Iraqi civilian was pulled from his Hamdania home in April 2006 and shot in a hole. An AK-47 and shovel were placed nearby to make him look like an insurgent planting a bomb, according to the prosecution.
Hutchins, of Plymouth, Mass., also was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, making a false official statement and larceny. He was acquitted of kidnapping, assault and housebreaking.
Testimony showed the victim was kidnapped and killed when the squad couldn't find the suspected insurgent............

Havingrecently finished Walter Brian Cisco's new book, "War Crimes Against Southern Civilians" (Great read!), it appears the Republican War Party has not changed much in their Modus Operandi, their methods or their war crimes.

IMO, the Republican Party was formed and chartered for nothing more than the genocide of people who get in the way of the big business elite , the bankers and the NWO.

When the War of northern Aggression ended with a cease-fire, the yankees moved their blood thirsty armies out West and continued the genocide against those who they deemed in their way.

The Republican Party lives by the sword. And we already know the end of those who do.

As for Sgt. Hutchins (a yankee from Mass., no less), he was tried as a media event. What he did is no different from what goes on all the time, from what I have read.

The yankee Empire just wanted to have an example to "prove" they really are civilised and don't tolerate murder. Something to set the sheeple at ease.

The reality of this is, the USA military will turn on its own in this country. They did in 1861 to 1865.

Direct Quotes From Veterans of United States Army During Republican Rule:

    Dateline: Iraq, 2007

Interviews with US veterans show for the first time the pattern of brutality in Iraq:

"The frustration that resulted from our inability to get back at those who were attacking us led to tactics that seemed designed simply to punish the local population..."

Sergeant Camilo Mejía, 31, from Miami, National Guardsman, 1-124 Infantry Battalion, 53rd Infantry Brigade. Six-month tour beginning April 2003

Compare the above recent quote to this one from 1864:

    Dateline: USA, 1864

Interviews with US veterans show the pattern of brutality in the American South:

"We’ll burn every house, barn, church, and everything else we come to; we’ll leave their families houseless and without food; their towns will all be destroyed, and nothing but complete desolation will be found in our track. This army will not be trifled with. If citizens raise their hands against us, neither youth nor age nor sex will be respected. Everything must be destroyed…… We have gone so far now in our triumphal march that we will not be balked."Major James Austin Connally, 21, from Illinois, United States Federal Army, 123rd Illinois Infantry, Three-year tour beginning 1862

    ************************************************** **

The same can be said about Dresden. Same pattern of abuse and genocide against non-military civilians. Called total war.

This total war was first implemented in modern times in the American South, against white Americans.

The War Museum ’s Great Mistake: Furor Over WWII Allied Bombing<A href="http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3424408,00.html" target="_blank">
    </A>
Randall Hansen -- National Post (Canada)

The Canadian War Museum in Ottawa has decided to "adjust" its plaque about Bomber Command during the Second World War in response to veterans' complaints. This is a great mistake … The numbers are also not in dispute. Official statistics put [German] civilian deaths at 593,000. Civilians were burned, boiled, crushed, drowned and asphyxiated. Most died cowering in cellars, and most were women, children or old men. Some 60 German cities -- Dresden, but also Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Hannover, Darmstadt, Pforzheim and many, many others -- were obliterated..............

This fedgov's wickedness is abysmal. It's seeking people who will spy for it at all levels, just like it did before WW2:

    </font>D-Day may have been
the beginning of the end of Germany's campaign of horror during World
War II. But a new book by British historian Antony Beevor makes it
clear that the "greatest generation" wasn't above committing
a few war crimes of its own.

    </font>It was the first crime
William E. Jones had ever committed, which was probably why he could
still remember it well so many years later. He and other soldiers in
the 4th Infantry Division had captured a small hill. "It was
pretty rough," Jones later wrote, describing the bloody
    battle.

At some point, the GIs lost all self-control. As Jones wrote:
"(The Germans) were baffled and they were crazy. There were quite
a few of them still in their foxholes. Then I saw quite a few of them
shot right in the foxholes. We didn't take prisoners and there was
nothing to do but kill them, and we did, and I had never shot one like
that. Even our lieutenant did and some of the non coms
    (non-commissioned officers)."

The dead will most likely never be identified by name, but one thing
is clear: The victims of this war crime were German soldiers killed in
Normandy in the summer of 1944.

At daybreak on June 6, the Americans, British and their allies
launched "Operation Overlord," the biggest amphibious
landing of all time. During the operation, Allied and German troops
fought each other in one of the fiercest battles of World War II,
first on the beaches and then in the countryside of Normandy. When it
was over, more than 250,000 soldiers and civilians had been killed or
wounded, and Normandy itself was ravaged.

    </font>The Only Good German
    Is a Dead German

    </font>There is no shortage of
books on the Battle of Normandy, which also goes by the name of D-Day.
And the same can be said about films, such as Steven Spielberg's
award-winning film "Saving Private Ryan," which was a global
success. Indeed, it would almost seem that everything that could be
said about the battle has been said.

Still, that didn't deter British historian and best-selling author
Antony Beevor from taking another stab at the material. While
conducting research for his newest book, "D-Day: The Battle for
Normandy," Beevor stumbled upon something that is currently a
matter of much debate among experts. If some of these scholars are
correct, Allied soldiers committed war crimes in Normandy to a much
greater extent than was previously realized.

Beevor extensively quotes reports and memoirs of those who took part
in the invasion, many of whom state that American, British and
Canadian troops killed German POWs and wounded soldiers. They also
reportedly used soldiers belonging to the German Wehrmacht or Waffen
SS as human shields and forced them to walk through minefields.

For example, one recounts the tale of a private named Smith, who was
fighting with the 79th US Infantry Division. Smith allegedly
discovered a room full of wounded Germans in a fortification while he
was drunk on Calvados, a local apple brandy. According to the official
report: "Declaring to all and sundry that the only good German
was a dead one, Smith made good Germans out of several of them before
    he could be stopped."

In another account, Staff Sergeant Lester Zick reportedly encountered
an American soldier on a white horse who was herding 11 prisoners in
front of him. He called out to Zick and his men and told them that the
prisoners were all Poles, except for two Germans. Then, according to
Zick, the soldier took out his pistol "and shot both of them in
the back of the head. And we just stood there."

Beevor also quotes John Troy, a soldier with the 8th Infantry
Division, who writes of finding the body of an American officer the
Germans had tied up and killed because he had been caught carrying a
captured German P-38 pistol. Troy describes his reaction in the
following way: "When I saw that, I said no souvenirs for me. But,
of course, we did it too when we caught (Germans) with American
cigarettes on them, or American wristwatches they had on their
    arms."</font></div>
    <div style="color: rgb(102, 0, 0);">

    </font>Rage and Violence

</font>The issue of war crimes is
an incredibly sensitive one. But, in this case, the evidence is
    overwhelming.

Given the high number of casualties they suffered, Allied paratroopers
were particularly determined to exact bloody revenge. Near one
village, Audouville-la-Hubert, they massacred 30 captured Wehrmacht
soldiers in a single killing spree.

On the beaches, soldiers in an engineering brigade had to protect
German prisoners from enraged paratroopers from the 101st Airborne
Division, who shouted: "Turn those prisoners over to us. Turn
them over to us. We know what to do to them."

When the same LSTs (landing ship tanks) were used to evacuate both
German POWs and Allied wounded, the wounded attacked the Germans, and
it was only through the intervention of a pharmacist's mate that
    nothing more serious happened.

    </font>Part 2: A New
    Approach to Writing History

    </font>Beevor frequently quotes
from personal memoirs of Allied soldiers that have been available to
historians for years. But could it be that they were ignored by them
until now because they didn't support the image of the "greatest
generation," the term that Americans have liked to use to
describe their victorious soldiers from 1945? It would seem that no
shadows were to be cast on the war that gave the Americans, in
particular, the moral right to have a say in shaping Europe's postwar
future as well as creating the practical conditions for it to do
    so.

Still, that approach has recently been revised. In his 2007 book
    "</font>The Day of
Battle: The War in Sicily and Italy, 1934-1944</font>" Pulitzer Prize-winning author
Rick Atkinson described various war crimes committed by the Allies.
And now we have the same thing with Normandy.

Beevor primarily attributes the Allied crimes to the epic ferocity of
the battles. The Germans themselves called it a "dirty bush war,"
a reference to the bushes and hedgerows, ranging in height between one
and three meters (three and ten feet), used to demarcate the fields in
    Normandy's bocage landscape.

Indeed, Normandy's terrain is ideally suited for ambushes and booby
traps. For example, German units stretched thin steel cables across
roads at head level, so that when an American Jeep came roaring down
the road, its driver and passengers would be decapitated. They also
attached hand grenades to the dog tags of dead GIs, so that anyone who
tried to remove the dog tags was blown up. Likewise, it is an
established fact that German soldiers, and particularly those in the
    Waffen SS, shot prisoners.

    </font>Allied Behavior
    Doesn't Forgive Germany 's

    </font>The artillery fire from
both sides and the Allied bombing attacks transformed Normandy into a
moonscape. Beevor writes about soldiers who huddled in the craters
screaming and weeping, while others walked around as if in a trance
picking flowers in the midst of explosions. Indeed, American
physicians reported 30,000 cases of combat neurosis among their troops
    alone.

In a letter to his family in Minnesota, a US infantryman wrote that he
had never hated anything quite as much, adding: "And it's not
because of some blustery speech of a brass hat."

But such "blustery speeches" did exist. According to the
findings of German historian Peter Lieb, many Canadian and American
units were given orders on D-Day to take no prisoners. If true, that
might help explain the mystery of how only 66 of the 130 Germans the
Americans took prisoner on Omaha Beach made it to collecting points
for the captured on the beach.

It is also conspicuous that the Allies rarely captured members of the
Waffen SS. Was it because the members of this organization -- with its
Totenkopf (death's head) insignia -- had sworn allegiance to Hitler
until death and often fought to the last man? Or did the Allied
propaganda about the SS have its desired effect on soldiers?
"Many of them probably deserved to be shot in any case and know
it," a British XXX Corps report bluntly stated.

Of course, for German apologists, this new information shouldn't be
something to make them feel better about their own side's behavior. In
fact, although the extent of Allied war crimes may have been greater
than previously known, it cannot be compared with the scope of German
crimes against civilians. For example, shooting innocent hostages was
part of the German strategy for fighting the French partisans who
struck out after D-Day. Up to 16,000 French citizens -- men, women and
children -- fell victim to the terror of the Wehrmacht and the
    SS.</font></div>

Oh, this is good. This is incredible!

Remember when some PBS gews did a sensational program on the recent (and fraudulent) discovery that it was -- gasp! -- the African-American troops</span> who had liberated Auschwitz, then had to eat crow?

This is gonna take you back there with a vengeance.

    After the Reich: The
Brutal History of the Allied Occupation</font>[/b]

    Giles MacDonogh</font>

    <i style="">
    Basic Books, 2007</font>[/i]

    </font>

    </font> </span>Those who
honestly chronicle human events, present or past, are a rare and honorable
breed. </span>We should certainly ennoble them
within the pantheon of our earthly gods.
</span>As we do so, we will no doubt include those who, not out of alienation
against the West or the United States or its people but out of a thirst for
truth, are bringing to light the awful events that followed in the wake of
World War II (as well as the enormities that were committed as part of the way
in which the war was fought against civilian populations, although that is a
subject we won’t be exploring here).
</span>That war has been known among Americans as “the good war,” and those who
fought it as “the greatest generation.”
</span>But now, slowly, we are hit by the realities so commonplace to a complex
human existence: there was much that was not good, and along with the
self-sacrifice and high intentions there was much that was venal and
brutal. </span>These realities are coming to
the surface because there are some scholars, at least, who are aware that an
ocean of wartime propaganda spawns a myth that continues for several decades
and who have a commitment to truth that overrides the many inducements to
    conform to the myth.</font>
    </font> </span>

    </font> </span>This
article began as a simple review of Giles MacDonogh’s book that is identified
above. </span>His book is largely of the
myth-breaking sort I have just praised.
</span>Because, however, there is valuable additional material that I am loath
to leave unmentioned, I have expanded it to include other information and
authors, although leaving it primarily a review of <i style="">After the Reich[/i].</font>

    </font> </span>MacDonogh’s
is a puzzling book, both brave and craven, mostly (but not entirely) worthy of
the high praise we must give to incorruptible scholars. </span>As we have noted, the American public has
long thought of the Allied effort in World War II as a “great crusade” that
pitted good and decency against Nazi evil.
</span>Even after all these years, it is likely that the last thing the public
wants to learn is that vast and unspeakable wrongs were committed by both the
Western Allies and the Soviet Union during the war and its aftermath. </span>It flies in the face of that reluctance for
MacDonogh to tell “the brutal history” at great length.</font> </font> </span>

    </font> </span>That
willingness is commendable for its intellectual bravery. </span>In light of it, it is puzzling that even as
he does so he puts a gloss over that history, in effect continuing in part a
cover-up of historic proportions that has been fixed in place by the overhang
of wartime propaganda for almost two-thirds of a century. </span>The great value of his book thus cannot be
found in its completeness or its strict candor, but rather in its providing
something of a bridge—albeit quite an extensive one—that can start
conscientious readers toward further study of an immensely important subject.</font> </font> </span>

    </font> </span>For this
article, it will be valuable to begin by summarizing the history MacDonogh
relates (and to add somewhat to it). </span>It
is only after doing this that we will discuss what MacDonogh obscures. </span>All of this will then lead to some concluding
    reflections.</font>

    </font>

    </font> </span><b style="">In his Preface, MacDonogh says[/b] his
purpose is to “expose the victorious Allies in their treatment of the enemy at
peace, for in most cases it was not the criminals who were raped, starved,
tortured or bludgeoned to death but women, children and old men.” </span>Although this suggests the tone of the book
will be one of outrage, the narrative is in the main informative rather than
    polemical. </span>MacDonogh’s scholarly
background includes several books of German and French history and biography (as
well as four books on wine).</font>
    </font> </span>

    </font> </span><b style=""><i style="">The expulsions[/i][/b]
(today called “<i style="">ethnic cleansing[/i]”). </span>At the end of the war, MacDonogh tells us,
“as many as 16.5 million Germans were driven from their homes.” </span>9.3 million were expelled from the eastern
portion of Germany, which was made a part of Poland. </span>(Both the eastern and western boundaries of
Poland were drastically shifted westward by agreement of the allies, with
Poland taking an important part of Germany and the Soviet Union taking eastern
Poland.) </span>The other 7.2 million were
forced from their ancestral homes in Central Europe where they had lived for
    generations.</font>

    </font> </span>This mass
expulsion was settled upon in the Potsdam Agreement in mid-1945, although the
Agreement did make it explicit that the ethnic cleansing was to take place “in
    the most humane manner possible.”
</span>Churchill was among those who supported it as conducive “to lasting
    peace.”</font> </font> </span>

    </font> </span>In fact,
the process was so inhumane that it amounted to one of history’s great
    atrocities. </span>MacDonogh reports that “some
two and a quarter million would die during the expulsions.” </span>This is at the lower end of such estimates,
which range from 2.1 million to 6.0 million, if we take only the expellees into
account. </span>Konrad Adenauer, very much a
friend of the West, found himself able to say that among those expelled “six
million Germans… are dead, gone.”</font>[1]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>We will be seeing MacDonogh’s account of the
starvation and exposure to extreme cold to which the post-war population of
Germany was subject, and it is worth mentioning at this point (even though it
goes beyond the expulsions) that the historian James Bacque says that “the
comparison of the censuses has shown us that some 5.7 million people
disappeared inside Germany between October 1946 [a year and a half after the
    war ended] and September 1950….”</font>[2]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>

    </font> </span>What
MacDonogh calls “the greatest maritime tragedy of all time” occurred when the
    ship the <i style="">Wilhelm Gustloff[/i], carrying
Germans from Danzig in January 1945, was sunk with “anything up to 9,000
people,… many of them children.” </span>In
mid-1946, “pictures show some of the 586,000 Bohemian Germans packed in box
cars like sardines.” </span>At another point
MacDonogh tells how “the refugees were often packed so tightly that they could
not move to defecate and emerged from the trucks covered with excrement. </span>Many were dead on arrival.” </span>[This calls to mind the scenes described so
    vividly in Volume I of Solzhenitsyn’s <i style="">The
    Gulag Archipelago[/i].] </span>In Silesia,
“streams of civilians were forced from their homes at gunpoint.” </span>A priest estimated that a quarter of the
German population of one Lower Silesian town killed itself, as entire families
    committed suicide together.</font>

    </font> </span><b style=""><i style="">The
condition of the German population--starvation and extreme cold.[/i][/b]
    Germans refer to 1947 as <i style="">Hungerjahr[/i],
the “year of hunger,” but MacDonogh says that “even by the winter of 1948 the
situation had not been remedied.” </span>People
ate dogs, cats, rats, frogs, snails, nettles, acorns, dandelion roots and wild
mushrooms in a feverish effort to survive.
</span>In 1946, the calories provided in the U.S. Zone of Germany dropped to
1,313 by March 18 from the mere 1,550 provided earlier. </span>Victor Gollancz, a British and Jewish author
and publisher, objected that “we are starving the Germans.”</font>[3]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>This is similar to the statement made by
    Senator Homer Capehart of Indiana in a speech to the U. S. Senate on <st1:date ls="trans" m&#111;nth="2" day="5" year="19">February 5, 19</st1:date>46: “For nine
months now this administration has been carrying on a deliberate policy of mass
starvation….”</font>[4]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>MacDonogh tells us that the Red Cross,
Quakers, Mennonites and others wanted to bring in food, but “in the winter of
1945 donations were returned with the recommendation that they be used in other
war-torn parts of Europe.” </span>In the
American zone of Berlin, “it was American policy that nothing should be given
away and everything should be thrown away.
</span>So those German women who worked for the Americans were fantastically
well fed, but could take nothing home to their families or children.” </span>Bacque says “foreign relief agencies were
prevented from sending food from abroad; Red Cross food trains were sent back
to Switzerland; all foreign governments were denied permission to send food to
German civilians; fertilizer production was sharply reduced… The fishing fleet
was kept in port while people starved.”</font>[5]</font></span></span></span>

    </font> </span>Under the
    Russian occupation of East Prussia,
</span>MacDonogh sees “striking similarities” to Stalin’s “deliberate
starvation of the Ukrainian kulaks in the early 1930s.” </span>As in the Ukraine, “cases of cannibalism were
reported, with people eating the flesh of their dead children.” </span></font>
    </font> </span>

    </font> </span>The
suffering from extreme cold mixed with the starvation to create misery and a
heavy death toll. Even though the winter in 1945-6 was a normal one, “the
terrible lack of coal and food was acutely felt.” </span>Abnormally cold winters struck in 1946-7
(“possibly the coldest in living memory”) and 1948-9. </span>In Berlin alone, 60,000 people were thought
to have died within the first ten months after the end of the war; and “the
following winter killed off an estimated 12,000 more.” </span>People lived in holes among the ruins, and
“some Germans—particularly refugees from the east—were virtually naked.”</font>

    </font> </span>In his book
<i style="">Gruesome Harvest: The Allies’ Postwar War
Against The German People[/i], Ralph Franklin Keeling cites a quote from a
“noted German pastor”: “Thousands of bodies are hanging from trees in the woods
around Berlin and nobody bothers to cut them down. </span>Thousands of corpses are carried into the sea
by the Oder and Elbe Rivers—one doesn’t notice it any longer. </span>Thousands and thousands are starving in the
highways… Children roam the highways alone….”</font>[6]</font></span></span></span>

</font> </span>In his <i style="">The German Expellees: Victims in War and
Peace[/i], Alfred-Maurice de Zayas told how in Yugoslavia Marshal Tito used
camps as extermination centers to starve Germans.</font>[7]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>

    </font> </span><b style=""><i style="">Mass
rape—to which one must add the “voluntary sex” obtained from starving women.[/i][/b]<i style=""> [/i]</span>The onslaught of rape by invading Russian
forces is, of course, infamous. </span>In the
Russian zone of Austria, “rape was part of daily life until 1947 and many women
were riddled with VD and had no means to cure it.” </span>MacDonogh tells us that “conservative
estimates place the number of Berlin women raped at 20,000.” </span>When the British arrived in Berlin, “officers
later recalled the shock of seeing the lakes in the prosperous west filled with
the corpses of women who had committed suicide after being raped.” </span>The age of the victim made little difference,
with those raped ranging from 12 to 75.
</span>Nurses and nuns were among the victims (some as many as fifty
    times). </span>“The Russians were particularly
hard on the nobles, setting fire to their manor houses and raping or killing
the inhabitants.” </span>Although “most of the
unwanted Russian children were aborted,” MacDonogh says “it is estimated that
between 150,000 and 200,000 ‘Russian babies’ survived.” </span>The Russians raped wherever they went, so
that it wasn’t just German women who were raped, but also women of Hungary,
Bulgaria, the Ukraine, and Yugoslavia even though it was on the same side.</font>

    </font> </span>There was
an official policy against rape, but it was so commonly ignored that “it was
only in 1949 that Russian soldiers were presented with any real
deterrent.” </span>Until then, “they were egged
on by [Ilya] Ehrenburg and other Soviet propagandists who saw rape as an
    expression of hatred.”</font>

    </font> </span>Although
there was a “widespread incidence of rape by American soldiers,” there was an
enforced military policy against it, with “a number of American servicemen
    executed” for it. </span>Criminal charges
brought for rape “rose steadily” during the final months of the war, but
    declined sharply thereafter. </span>What did
continue was arguably almost as bad: the sexual exploitation of starving women
who “voluntarily” sold sexual services for food. </span>In <i style="">Gruesome
    Harvest,[/i] Keeling quotes from an article in the <i style="">Christian Century[/i] for <st1:date ls="trans" m&#111;nth="12" day="5" year="19">December 5, 19</st1:date>45: “The American provost marshal… said that
rape represents no problem for the military police because ‘a bit of food, a
bar of chocolate, or a bar of soap seems to make rape unnecessary.’”</font>[8]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>The extent of this is shown by the figure
MacDonogh provides of an “estimated 94,000 <i style="">Besatzungskinder
[/i]or ‘occupation children’ [who] were born in the American zone.” </span>He says that in 1945-6 “many female children
    resorted to prostitution to survive.
</span>Boys, too, performed a service for Allied soldiers.”</font>

    </font> </span>Keeling,
writing for the 1947 publication of his book [which explains his use of </span>the present tense], said there was “an
upsurge in venereal diseases which has reached epidemic proportions,” and went
on to say that “a large proportion of the contamination has originated with
colored American troops which we have stationed in great numbers in Germany and
among whom the rate of venereal infection is many times greater than among
white troops.” </span></font>In July 1946, he says,
the annual rate of infection for white soldiers was 19%, for black troops
77.1%. </span>He reiterated the point we are
making here when he pointed to “the close connection between the venereal
disease rate and availability of food.”</font>[9]</font></span></span></span> </font> </span>

    </font> </span>If
MacDonogh mentions rape by British soldiers, it has escaped me. </span>He does tell, however, of rape by Poles, the
French, Tito’s partisans, and displaced persons. </span>In Danzig, “the Poles behaved as badly as the
Russians… It was the Poles who liberated the town of Teschen in the north [of
Czechoslovakia] on 10 May. </span>For five days
they raped, looted, torched and killed.”
</span>He writes of “French soldiers’ behaviour in Stuttgart, where perhaps
3,000 women and eight men were raped,” says “a further 500 women [were] raped
in Vaihingen,” and reports “three days of killing, plunder, arson and rape” in
    Freundenstadt. </span>Of the displaced persons,
he says that “there were around two million POWs and forced labourers from
Russia who had formed into gangs and robbed and raped all over central Europe.”</font>

    </font> </span><b style=""><i style="">Treatment
of the prisoners of war[/i].[/b] </span>In all,
there were approximately eleven million German prisoners of war. </span>One and a half million of these never
    returned home. </span>MacDonogh expresses an
appropriate outrage here: “To treat them with so little care that a million and
    a half died was scandalous.”</font>

    </font> </span>The Red
    Cross had no role <i style="">vis a vis[/i] those

An article entitled "The Anglo-American Extermination of the Germans"

The US/UK, the Anglo world, so loves to throw around the legends of the Red Army massacring the poor German people, as we conquered our enemies, while the US/UK brought the suffering masses, free of Hitler, the glory of their humanity and love.

One German journalist was recently quoted as saying that if one counted up all the supposed victims of the Red Army, in Germany, ever German would have had to be killed three times and then raped twice. It is, as always, open season on those who suffered the most under the Nazis and mum on those who suffered under the Anglo-Americans, such as the hundreds of thousands of rape victims in Sicily and Italy, the results of the English colonial forces.

Interesting how the Anglo-Americans have always refused to utter even a word about the 6 million, out eight million, civilians killed by bombings or of the over one million German POWs who died from 1945 to 1946, in the hands of the US/UK, or the forced starvation of the civilians in western Germany.

An article entitled "Other Losses back in print in the US."

Following WWII, 750,000 POWs died in US custody. Many were only 16 or 17 years old. Conditions in US run camps were so deplorable that US General George Patton unilaterally freed 30,000 German POWs under his care. Patton died from a minor car crash under highly suspicious circumstances shortly after.

Here is the greatest hypocrisy of the greatest hypocrites on earth -- the glorious multicultural empire which is, first and foremost, an enforcer of diversity and tolerance at home and worldwide. Slick Willy's Monica War was officially aimed at demonstrating to the world that said empire would no longer tolerate monoracial societies. This is not because there's any logic or humanity in it, it's just what was inculcated in Slicky and what's force fed the 7 billion people of the world 24/7 by the gew-owned ameriKan media, ergop it's what ameriKan politicians do now.

Enter the first mulatto president, the Peace Prize winner. Since Barry is such a devout Muslim, he exudes peaceability in such adventures as helping the tan Arabs ethnically cleanse the blacks from Libya in keeping with the utterances of Mohammed himself.

The Prophet, you see, referred to blacks as "raisin-heads" (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256) and "pug-nosed slaves" (Sahih Moslem vol. 9, pgs. 46-47), and said they would steal when they're hungry, but when they're full, they're "promiscuous" (Sahih Moslem).

Wait a minute -- Barry's half black, doesn't compute! Yes it does -- he clearly doesn't consider himself black, negro, African American or what have you, and just plays the race card for political effect. Now you're going to see a town of 40,000 people the tan ones totally depopulated.

Another layer of hypocrisy: Where are the Nuremburg-style trials for these war criminals? OH -- a more apt question than I thought. By minute 14, the story is directly parallel to the Israeli-occupied territories. It's a new Israel/Palestinian situation aborning -- talk of separation or a two-state solution in effect. We are all Israelis -- or Palestinians -- now.
