My eighth-grade science teacher summed up researchmethods at the "duh" level for us by saying "when you can say `I see a trend forming', that's when you've got something worth noting or investigating".
This applies to any kind of thought process, of course -- a basic fact of living that liberalism seeks to overturn. And when it comes to the current moral climate, the "trends" are undeniable. Absolutely everything is moving toward the glorification -- the enshrinement -- theworship of homosexuality.
Our only consolation is seeing liberals twist and sue and harass themselves overhow to liberate us. The story below was gaily chirped first thing by this morning on radio news by one of thosereportresses who sound like Barbara Boxer on speed.
Not that I would ever credit comic book "heroes" with having any place in a healthy society -- indeed, Batman, Robin and the rest are part and parcel of the liberal, secular humanist, fantasy-driven, un-familial junk culture of the age. But it takes a supremely sick mind to set up "heroes" for children to grab onto and then reinventthem as "gay", just as Superman and Lois were made to "get it on"in the hit Superman movie of the 1980s -- a flick seen and worshiped and lived and slept and eaten and drunken by a whole generation of youth.

Batwoman has undergone a groundbreaking transformation as a "lesbian socialite by night and a crime fighter by later in the night".
Batwoman aka Kathy Kane has never had her own comic - she was originally Batgirl's handbag-toting aunty, who spent most of her time swooning over Batman until she was assassinated in 1979.
But her rebirth in DC Comics' new 52 magazine is part of a new wave of minority reincarnations, including a Mexican Blue Beetle, a black Firestorm and an Asian re-imagining of The Atom.
But it looks like Batman and Robin are going to stay in the closet after DC took legal action against a New York art gallery last year for outing the crime fighters.
The gallery had exhibited Mark Chamberlain'ssemi-naked pictures of the caped crusaders kissing and embracing...............

<DIV ="line">Ben Livingston: Cloud physicist has eye on hurricane control </DIV>
Waylon "Ben" Livingston knows his ideas are controversial, so he steps lightly when talking about them. His theories have been proven, the technology is in place. Research shows his ideas could save hundreds, maybe even thousands, of lives.
He is a fascinating man with credentials as long as the wingspan of the airplanes he flew as a commander with the U.S. Navy in Korea and Vietnam.
Livingston, 77, moved to Midland with his parents during the Depression. He earned his master's degree in cloud physics from the Naval Weapons Center and Navy Post Graduate School in California, a degree he would use in the battlefields. He seeded clouds and dramatically increased rainfall in his theater of war, creating impassably muddy roads, slowing down the Vietnamese and Korean troops, and saving lives and entire towns from occupation.
He is proudest of his award from the secretary of Navy, which says, "Lt. Livingston directly participated in project flights in a combat zone, in program planning, scientific data collection and evaluation ... his unwavering devotion to duty were major factors in the outstanding success of the project and were instrumental in the development of a unique, major combat capability for the United States."
Before receiving the citation, Livingston was invited to the White House where he briefed President Lyndon B. Johnson on the effectiveness of weather control activities and the resulting slowing of traffic by the military support trucks bringing supplies to Southeast Asian troops.
Livingston's findings deal with hurricanes and what scientists call weather modifications. His research includes 265 missions into the eyes of hurricanes and he calls himself maybe the "most disgusted" person in the country about Hurricane Katrina.
The storm, he says simply, could have been dramatically curtailed, the damage minimized, the levees of New Orleans saved.
Livingston works with scientists and pilots at Weather Modification Inc., in Fargo, N.D. His theories also have been verified by staffers there. He has logged 15,000 hours of hurricane reconnaissance experience and all of his penetrations into the eyes of hurricanes were of the low-level variety -- where he would fly in from low altitude then up and into the eye. He said the refraction of light onto the water through the eye of a hurricane is the most beautiful and memorable site he has ever witnessed. It was made even more so after nightfall when the stars and moon work together.
"In the 1960s, a national priority of our government was hurricane control," Livingston said. "Silver iodide is used as a nuclei that causes raindrops to form. The original hypothesis is that if you get enough rain or cool air into a hurricane you can diminish its velocity and strength. When I left the military in the 1960s, we had the ability to do that, and reduce wind velocity in hurricanes by 25 percent and damage caused by a hurricane by 63 percent."
Livingston said his research of hurricane control was confirmed by the Stanford Research Institute. The program of controlling hurricanes, though, was mysteriously dropped by the federal government because of, as he termed it, "politics and professional jealousy." Livingston said powerful Washington lobbies control areas preventing the reinstatement of the hurricane-reduction program, and when asked why it has not yet been resinstated, Livingston cites what he calls an "industry of destruction."
Livingston said his return trip this week to the WMI in Fargo will hopefully result in a reinstatement of his program in 2006. Although he says hurricane control is one thing the government should definitely be trying to do, he suggested hurricane control be privatized.
"You'd think the insurance and energy sectors would jump all over something like this, but they're not willing to go counter to a government agency," he said.
The hurricane control program, he said, is a "no-brainer when it is explained in simple terms," but he admitted it would cost millions of dollars to get off the ground.
"The bottom line is, you cannot make an argument against saving lives and propertry," Livingston said."If it can be done, it ought to be done."
Livingston, who does not believe global warming is to blame for the recent spate of deadly hurricanes along the Gulf coast, said reinstating the hurricane control program would have a greater impact for the good of the country.
"Someone a lot smarter than I am could make a significant contribution to our nation if they would just sit down with a half-dozen other smart people and talk about this," Livingston said.

An old adage warns us that "those who refuse to learn from history are condemned to repeat it." This is not because of some inexorable, mysterious decree of Fate, but because (as the ancient Greek historian Thucydides observed) "the kind of events that once took place will by reason of human nature take place again." One need not look to the distant past, either, to glean material predictive of the immediate future.
For an outstanding example, patriotic Americans can find many ominous, yet also instructive, parallels between their situation today and the predicament of the Plains Indians during the late 1800s. These parallels are particularly striking where money and banking are concerned. For example:

And the Federal Reserve System—the apogee of modern central banking—is everywhere praised as the great exemplar of "scientific" management of money. Yet gold and silver are obviously no more "barbarous relics" than the free market itself, because they are the media of exchange that a truly free market always chooses (otherwise, their use as money would not so often have been inhibited, even prohibited, by governments and central banks).................

Regrettably, most Americans are uninformed concerning the history of the Pledge of Allegiance, which was not composed until 1892. In other words, for a hundred and sixteen years following the founding of this country, Americans did not consider themselves any less loyal to their nation without an official pledge.
The Pledge of Allegiance, in its original form, was written by Francis Bellamy, a liberal socialist. The intent of the pledge was to foster allegiance to a centralized federal government as opposed to local Christian government as was the original intent of our Founding Fathers. What is interesting about the left talking about right-wing conspiracy theories being "crazy" is all the theories the left-wing has about the right-wing. How many times do left-wing come up with a theory that the Klan is about to takeover or the National Socialist are about to return to power some place. Of course, they want scared liberals to send money so they can stop it often times. In many respects the left-wings conspiracy theories are the crazy ones while the right-wing theories often have substantial facts backing them.
A Ron Paul K.C. {Missouri} volunteer campaign website has posted information stating that the Federal Communications Commission told Iowa media outlets not to cover the recent Ron Paul rallywhich was held in Des Moines, Iowa.
According to one post on the Ron Paul KC Volunteers website made by a user whose screen name is "the mom":
"Jim Guest (the Missouri State Congressman who gave an introductory speech for Ron Paul at the event) was asked (beforehand) to look into why the local media wasn’t covering the event, his contacts (at the stations?) reported back that the FCC had contacted the stations and told them in no uncertain terms not to give coverage to Ron Paul’s event. The number of U.S.-paid private contractors in Iraq now exceeds that of American combat troops, newly released figures show, raising fresh questions about the privatization of the war effort and the government's capacity to carry out military and rebuilding campaigns.
More than 180,000 civilians -- including Americans, foreigners and Iraqis -- are working in Iraq under U.S. contracts, according to State and Defense Department figures obtained by the Los Angeles Times. Including the recent troop surge, 160,000 soldiers and a few thousand civilian government employees are stationed in Iraq.
The total number of private contractors, far higher than previously reported, shows how heavily the Bush administration has relied on private corporations to carry out the occupation of Iraq -- a mission criticized as being undermanned.
"These numbers are big," said Peter Singer, a Brookings Institution scholar who has written on military contracting. "They illustrate better than anything that we went in without enough troops. This is not the coalition of the willing. It's the coalition of the billing."
The numbers include at least 21,000 Americans, 43,000 foreign contractors and about 118,000 Iraqis -- all employed in Iraq by U.S. tax dollars, according to the most recent government data.
The array of private workers promises to be a factor in debates on a range of policy issues, including the privatization of military jobs and the number of Iraqi refugees allowed to resettle in the U.S.
But there also are signs that even those mounting numbers may not capture the full picture. Private security contractors, who are hired to protect government officials and buildings, were not fully counted in the survey, according to industry and government officials.
Continuing uncertainty over the numbers of armed contractors drew special criticism from military experts.
"We don't have control of all the coalition guns in Iraq. That's dangerous for our country," said William Nash, a retired Army general and reconstruction expert. The Pentagon "is hiring guns. You can rationalize it all you want, but that's obscene"............

If prostitution is the world's oldest profession, then corporate diversity training has to rank as one of the nastiest as well as newest. And it's considerably less honest. At least with a prostitute, a customer usually knows what he's getting in advance. A diversity trainer, on the other hand, is full of surprises -- at least for unsuspecting white employees. And they're not very pleasant surprises at that.
American corporations, contrary to their Far Left-manufactured caricature as bastions of "right-wing Republicans," have become boosters of anti-white racial and ethnic favoritism on a grand scale. Under the guise of "diversity," surely a more soothing and inclusive term than "affirmation action," our nation's largest companies have been busy during the last couple decades revolutionizing their respective organizations. If they remain profitable, that's despite the diversity regime they've forced upon employees, not because of it.
Diversity training and education has become a lucrative racket. At the invitation of their corporate benefactors, the people in this industry, whether working as in-house managers or as outside consultants, see as it as their mission to badger employees, especially white and/or male new hires, into availing themselves of prejudices ostensibly lurking deep within. CAMP PENDLETON, California— Marine corporal said Marines in his unit began routinely beating Iraqis after officers ordered them to "crank up the violence level," the Los Angeles Times reported.
Cpl. Saul H. Lopezromo testified Saturday at the murder trial of Cpl. Trent D. Thomas.
"We were told to crank up the violence level," the newspaper quoted Lopezromo as saying in testimony for the defense.

Weeks after allegedly being criticized by officers for not being tough enough, seven Marines and a Navy corpsman went out late one night to find and kill a suspected insurgent in the village of Hamandiya near the Abu Ghraib prison. The Marines and corpsman were from 2nd Platoon, Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment.
Lopezromo said the man was known to his neighbors as the "prince of jihad," and had been arrested several times and later released by the Iraqi legal system.
Unable to find him, the Marines and corpsman dragged another man from his house, fatally shot him, and then planted an AK-47 assault rifle near the body to make it appear he had been killed in a shootout, according to court testimony.
Four Marines and the corpsman, initially charged with murder in the April 2006 killing, have pleaded guilty to reduced charges and been given jail sentences ranging from 10 months to eight years. Thomas, 25, from St. Louis, pleaded guilty but withdrew his plea and is the first defendant to go to court-martial.............
